I spent 8 nights there and really enjoyed my time. The hosts are extremely friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the setting is super nice (including the pool). Much recommended.

A quiet place located not far from the sea, in a residence with a beautiful panoramic view that also includes the sea, and parking space in front. The rooms are cleaned daily, with sheets changed every three days. The owner is very attentive and meticulous, and also organizes excursions. Every morning we had breakfast outside in the garden. It's a great place for those with modest expectations, I recommend it!

We stayed at Villa San Leonardo a few weekends ago, but we weren't thrilled. The B&B is located in an apartment building where neighbors see guests swimming in the pool. I should point out that the water was unfortunately dirty, almost green, suggesting no maintenance has been done to ensure a minimum level of guest service. The breakfast area was nonexistent and poorly laid out, and the selection of food was limited. The owner lets you choose your breakfast the night before on a completely worn sheet of paper, where guests can choose between toast, honey, or an empty croissant. He also specifies that if you want Nutella or jam, it's available separately in the boxes, one for each croissant. Stop! Rooms with zero privacy, both on the balconies and inside. The room we stayed in was connected to an adjacent one, but with zero privacy, we could see if the light was on or off and, above all, we could hear every noise or discussion. I wouldn't recommend it!

Quiet and strategic location for visiting Catania, Taormina, and the surrounding area. Flexible check-in time (please let us know). Clean rooms equipped with all comforts and amenities. The view from our room was beautiful; from the balcony you can admire Taormina, the sea, and a sea of lemon trees, which is particularly charming at this time of year. We really appreciated the bathroom, with its large anteroom equipped with a sink and mirror. We had breakfast in the garden, which is very well-kept. For breakfast, you are asked upon check-in what you would like to eat. In the morning, everything is prepared freshly with quality products. The croissants were still warm, nothing like the frozen ones at the bar; these were fresh and artisanal. We really appreciated the idea of serving plain croissants, as guests can fill them however they like. The owner, Nunzio, is very kind, friendly, and helpful. He gave us tons of information about what to see and how to get to the places of interest. His willingness to chat about anything and everything was also fantastic. He was very attentive to the guests' needs. Thank you for advising me to go back to the room to check if we had everything, because if he hadn't, we would have left some items behind. Thank you so much. I give Nunzio a 10. We will definitely be back.

We booked through Smart Box. Beautiful location within a stunning garden. Unfortunately, the property proved to be subpar. Rooms lacked any soundproofing. During the night, we could hear the neighbor snoring and...scrolling! Breakfast was nothing short of Fantozzian, with the owner busy making artisanal cappuccinos for 10 minutes each. The wait was surreal and embarrassing. This property is not for those who value privacy and speed. Oh... There's a pile of garbage on the adjacent road.
