Room was air-conditioned and cool when we arrived on a very hot day. The evening menu at the pub has a wide choice and the food and drinks were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Nice country pub, room for solo occupant just right with comfortable bed, although would have liked a chair rather than stool. Good sized shower. Tv had internet connection. Good meals without being fancy and interesting beers

Lovely to see a proper village pub so busy on a couple of weekday nights in Mid-January. And quite rightly so - friendly staff, friendly locals and friendly guests. Breakfasts were great, dinners delicious and very reasonably priced (wife said the Rib-eye steak was the best 'pub steak' shed ever had and my chicken goujons were fantastic.

Bedroom very clean and bed really comfortable. Shower excellent, shower cream & body lotion, fluffy white towels hairdryer all in room. Tea & coffee AND hot chocolate, BISCUITS & enough milk. Just as it should be everywhere. Breakfast excellent thanks Lea, superb. All staff very welcoming, polite, friendly & knew what they were doing.

A genuine country pub, very welcoming ,good food and all the rooms have air-con.

This place was a great little find. Good size room, air con in the room, with all the facilities. The pub served great food, it was all not expensive.

Stayed for 2 days on a business trip. Friendly staff and locals. Good affordable food. Would definitely stay again if working in the area.

A very "local"local pub. Very friendly and helpful staff and landlady, and also friendly helpful locals. Good breakfasts. We ate one night in the bar - proper pub grub! Great location for us going to events in South Petherton and Glastonbury. Lovely area - noted the South Somerset Cycle route for another time1

Friendly staff, good pub grub & ales. Compact room but very comfy bed and complimentary bottled water and biscuits. Great breakfast.

One of the best country pubs i have stayed in. Everyone was friendly and the food including breakfast was excellent. Will be staying again when in the area.
