There is a difference between "Rustic" and "Run down!" This hotel was run down. The only thing nice about this hotel was the view around the hotel. We were there for a planned event and the hotel did not have enough staff the run the restaurant. The wait for food was over 45 minutes. The rooms only had two electrical outlets and not near the bed. It does not look like it had been updated sinces the 1980's.

Las habitaciones y la propiedad eran agradables y la persona de recepción era amable. Lo que fue decepcionante es que llegamos tarde y entendemos que la cocina está cerrada. Sin embargo, la recepción dijo que podíamos tomar café por la noche en la habitación, pero resultó que nuestras dos habitaciones estaban a unos pasos de la cocina y el comedor, así que caminamos hasta allí. Encontramos a las tres personas que atendían el área sentadas escuchando música y trataron de decir que no podían ayudarnos, hasta que dijimos que la recepción dijo lo contrario. Entonces, de mala gana, tardaron 20 minutos en preparar dos cafés de 6 onzas. Luego, en el salón de fiestas hubo un evento que duró hasta aproximadamente las 3 de la mañana con música en vivo a todo volumen, lo que parecía ser el máximo. Estábamos más lejos del área de la fiesta y las cosas en nuestras habitaciones temblaban. Eso hizo que pasáramos una noche larga sin poder descansar durante nuestro viaje de 6 horas al día siguiente. Básicamente, el hotel me debe un reembolso por dos habitaciones, ¡¡¡pero buena suerte con eso!!!

Nice quiet and relaxing place to stay away from the City, close to downtown. The restaurant is amazing great taste food and service

App Hotels said breakfast included, at the property they don’t allow me to have any kind of meals or breakfast.

Beds are hard as a rock. (Deal breaker)Holes on bedsheets and dining tables. Employees are very nice and friendly. Hotel owners need to remodel the entire hotel. No hand rails on balconies. Parking is free. Breakfast o.k. bring your own coffee.

This is a beautiful hotel. Very quiet and relaxing. The rooms are spacious cabin looking rooms and they each have a little patio for you to enjoy the view outside. My room had a little fireplace which made it all the better and more homey feeling. The TV was a good size, and there were several chairs provided across the room. Parking is convenient and the staff are friendly. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful location, super friendly staff, great breakfast! Came on a group family vacation, rented 3 rooms and had a great time! And it’s so close to Uruapan National Park!

Always a nice stay! Short walk to calle 13, bars and restaurants. Short 5 minute drive to el malecon, always was told that August was hot..... indeed its freaking hot.

Hotel is rustic and beautiful from the outside but the rooms are a bit outdated. The mattress was the worst part of the room, it was extremely hard and the pillows were bad too. The rooms dont have an iron either. The service was not the best either, one of our toilets was leaking and the light in one of our bathrooms did not work. I reported it to the front desk in our fist night there and they said they will have someone check it out in the morning because their handy man was off for the night. The next morning nothing. We stayed for the weekend and it was never fixed. The "free" breakfast was ok.
