Don’t expect the room in the pic - you may or may not. Every room has a balcony is a stretch and air conditioner and tv are old/small (and need replacing). And the lift is not working - buttons have been remove - guess an upgrade is coming. That said, service and price are good. Very friendly and helpful - the receptionist even came to help me with my case on the stairs. I have stayed here before - and will again (after the lift is fixed lol)

Great place to stay. Large enough room for 2 persons to feel confortable. All basic amenities are there. Very clean (kudos to the cleaning lady). Very well located. for those who search location, cleanliness, welcoming staff.

Outdated property and rooms. Constant construction noise and walls are paper thin between rooms.

Very simple but super clean accommodations. It was really all we needed for a home base in a great location. 2 metro stations very close (5min or 8min) walk. They have turndown service if you run out of bathroom supplies or need new towels which was nice. I was glad we got assigned a room not overlooking the street and it’s a very busy shopping area and always buzzing with people. The woman was nice who checked us in but spoke no English, so we just used Google translate and that worked perfectly well.

Had a single bed room with shared toilet and shower/bath. Never had to wait a moment to use bathroom. Room also had a sink which was very useful. Room had a balcony too be able to enjoy the energy of the street.

A dorm like hotel room with a good mattress in the heart of the city

Are you someone who has backpacked through Europe and stayed in places that were clean and simple? This is a step up from there, but still more of a backpacker place than a real hotel. They call it a 'hostal' for a reason. Ikea furniture, one very bright fluorescent light bulb with a lampshade that doesn't blocking naked lightbulb. Rooms are not cleaned. But on the other hand, it was comfortable and clean, Wi-Fi works well, bathroom was very good, hot water, good water pressure. Curtains block the light. Small window looking at over the back of the other building provided some air as needed. Walls pretty thin on the other hand and drunk young people coming back after the bars woke me up and even an older couple just talking it louder voices was pretty audible while in the room. But location is incredible. Right in the center of everything you could want w/European charm and safe. Several Metro stations within a 5-minute walk. I would definitely stay here again. The price is about half of what you pay for most hotels. But there's no restaurant, the so-called front desk is really not easy accessible, there's no support at all if you have questions, everything uses a traditional key and you have to use three of them to get from the outside through a second door into room. None of that matters to me. It's clean safe secure and affordable and a great location.

The location was good. The room was quiet. The staff was very helful. However. We experienced elevator problems, electricity outage, toilet needed repair. I am not sure if I booked the right place as advertised in Expedia.

Very centric for shopping and food.

Nothing special about this property a place where to crash and does it. No special amenities, no special services, terrible blankets and hand wash inside the shower for shampoo and body wash. Great location tho.

It's a basic place for sleep and nothing else, but it's clean and in a good area

In a very central location right in the centre shirt walk away from grand via metro stop. The room was spacious

The closeness to LA Gran Vía is what makes it good
