One of Classic Hotels and historic. Incredible art collection including in each room. Bath room needs updating ,,, although mostly functional. Restaurant has a pretty set menu for dinner - so may not be your cup of tea. Not the world’s most creative menu.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. The beds and linens were fantastic, the breakfast was delicious. This was but a pit stop on our road trip but this charming hotel will stay in our memories

Perfect place for a chill romantic holiday ! Friendly staff, beautiful and calm surroundings. The restaurant has the best food! This was our second stay, and we will come back!

This is a grand hotel that was converted from an estate. The artworks, the service, and the food are outstanding. However the rooms are small and poorly ventilated. Exterior lights shine into the windows which must remain open all night in hot weather. Thus sleeping was difficult.

Nice classic hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Restaurant was super.

Good but not extremely comfortable bed. Nicely redone bathroom. Strangely, the bottle with high quality Molton Brown shower and general soap was mounted by the sink and thus unusable in the shower. Excellent breakfast, but I must recommend heat lamps or something such to keep the omelett, bacon, etc. warm. Beautiful shore just a short walk away.

Refsnes Gods is definitely worth a visit to calm down from stressful times. Service is excellent and the restaurant Munch has a great atmosphere and food. The bar food is ok. And breakfast was really good! The art part is a bit strange, since it is mostly placed in hall ways and not in a gallery. Get a bit of a feeling that some collector with too much money have bought random pieces and put them together

Very idylic hotel, beautiful surroundings, but the conditions of the room did not match the high standard of location. Old rooms, bad and nosy beds. Very cold floors and no bathroob or slippers to get varm after a shower.

Wonderful hotel with fascinating art collection. Good location with walk by the sea nearby. Enjoyed our overnight stay, would recommend

Beautiful hotel but not near any shop or sights. No bus service so u need to drive. Food was excellent and the staff were great

Lovely "manor house"-type hotel overlooking a fjord. We had a very nice room with balcony overlooking the water. Free parking and WiFi and an excellent breakfast with a view. You know you are coming to a classy establishment when you see they have their own Rolls Royce parked out front!

We were looking for overnight accommodation on our road trip through Norway. This hotel popped up and we decided to treat ourselves. It did not disappoint! The room was great sauna and hot tub were great. The staff however made the experience utterly Sublime. Our host was fantastic and truly devine to deal with. Deserves 6 stars.

Me hadde eit fantastisk opphald!. Fekk oppgradert rom med utsikt og balkong - vel verdt pengane! Sommartemperaturar på 28-30 grader. Fekk bruka badeplassen og brygga fleire gonger. Nydeleg atmosfære, herleg frokost. Nedtur i restauranten der servitøren bomma på bestillinga slik at to av seks måtte venta på middag til dei andre nesten var ferdige. Det vart og teke dobbelt opp av drikke for 2 av para. Dette vart retta opp i. Alt i alt - dete var høgdepunktet i sommar og me kjem garantert tilbake!

Vi hadde en hyggelig natt på elegante Refsnes Gods i forbindelse med bursdagsfeiring.

Stille og rolig. Bra renhold, god service, god frokost med hyggelige verter.

Fantastisk sted med nydelig mat/vin.

Meget hyggelig opphold, men litt tynt bemannet da vi ble sittende veldig lenge til frokost før vi fikk servert drikke og kaffe. Dessuten ble frokost servert i paviljongen, mens vi ble henvist til restauranten i hovedhuset. Dermed måtte vi bære maten med oss ut gjennom hagen opp til bordet vårt. Samme turen måtte vi ta for påfyll.
