Very nice fast service

Stayed here whilst visiting family in the Maenporth region. Friendly staff, the communcal areas were in great condition with specific decorations for the Easter weekend. The room was very comfortable with dual aspect windows in our room. Breakfast each day was very good quality with a wide selection of options available, including hot cross buns (as it was Easter) and the staff again catering to bespoke requests. Only areas I would suggest to improve are the slow wifi speed (perhaps look into a Starlink connection for the hotel) and the low water pessure in the shower.

Lovely small hotel. Perfect setting. Sea view from our room and dining room. Staff friendly and efficient. A perfect base for our short stay in this beautiful part of the country.

All aspects of the property were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very good and served piping hot. Towels changed daily and plenty of nice shower gel etc. All staff we came into contact with were very polite and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely clean room. Whole place very tastefully decorated. Staff were lovely. Food was great. Sea view room had lovely view and was very quiet. Cannot fault the stay and would love to come back again.

Lovely stay here for three nights, and would return and recommend to family and friends. Made very welcome. Very clean hotel. Room was lovely and overlooking garden and sea view. Shower in bath that could do with a foot grip as quite slippy once water was under foot, as nearly fell getting out. Pleased that kettle, beverages and biscuits were in the room for early morning cuppa. Breakfast was excellent and each night completed menu for the next day. Allocated same table each day. Had dinner upon arrival evening and that too was excellent. Complements to the chef! Quiet property so very peaceful. There are enough car spaces for parking and we were pleased there was an EV charging station, but unfortunately it was in ‘error’ mode. Though we tried a few times and called helpline it couldn’t be rebooted. This was outside of the hotel’s means and they said it had worked for others. As we were travelling round Cornwall we found an alternative at the local McDonald’s (not that we ate there!) but overall EV chargers are scarce in Cornwall.

Brilliant Hotel, great staff, rooms excellent, clean and nicely decorated. Food excellent, nice bar area and fabulous breakfast. All at a very reasonable price. Will stay again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
