Brandon Lodge is on the outskirts of Hereford. We travelled without a car and got off the 33 bus from Gloucester only 2 minutes' walk from the Lodge. We mainly walked in and out of the city, about 30 minutes each way, with no problem. Once we booked a taxi, also no problem, and when we left we took the 33 bus again, but the buses are infrequent. Everything at Brandon Lodge was good, including the availability of coffee bags in the room and fresh milk on request. Breakfast are variations on the Full English, plus continental options, all good quality and well-served. Our room was comfortable, in the single-storey extension with a covered walkway into the main house. Would happily stay again if arriving by car or bus, but might opt for somewhere more central if arriving by train.

Excellent stay. Breakfasts also excellent. We feel the rooms need updating a little. However we would recommend staying here.

We stayed for 2 nights at Brandon Lodge. Our room was spotlessly clean with very pleasing decor and a good heating system. The mattress and seating were very comfortable for somebody like myself who has many orthopaedic issues. The bathroom had a wonderful huge bath and excellent shower. There is a very attractive outside seating area with a fountain and also conservatory seating. Our breakfasts were beautifully cooked and served in a beautiful breakfast room. The entire property is very visually appealing! The staff are very helpful. We will be returning!

Clean but a bit dated. Manager fantastic but other staff member not very welcoming. Quiet and comfy. Ample parking.

Room very clean and comfortable, staff friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Also excellant breakfast. Close to Hereford town and Dewsall Court (we were there for a wedding).

The Breakfast Menu was lovely, very fresh, and well cooked. The room was lovely, tables well laid. Parking was easy, plenty of spaces. Just a little difficult to see to get out onto the road. Monique and Amy were lovely, helpful with Bus timetables, and ideas of where to visit. Our room was clean, just one thing, we would have liked a new shower tube each day, one was only enough for one day, and we were there for five days.

Nice hotel for a couple of days stay, staff were attentive and friendly. Only downside was no fridge in room and as there was no meal other than breakfast it meant nowhere to store milk or perisable items.

Whole stay was first class.

Lovely, quiet garden rooms with outdoor seating or conservatory to relax in. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Excellent stay

Absolutely superb stay at the Lodge. Bedroom was spacious, mattress super comfy. Breakfast was first class. Would highly recommended and will definitely be back.

We had a twin bed garden room leading on to a well maintained & attractive garden area. Very quiet & peaceful. We didn't use the conservatory which was available for our use but everywhere was immaculate & well thought out

I went to visit my son who lives in Hereford and Brandon lodge was perfect, very quiet and clean. Breakfast was amazing very much recommended a stay . We will be back.

Deservedly awarded 10/10. Clean, comfortable, well situated with ample of road parking. Owner vey friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent- best I have had at a B&B. Highly recommend.
