We had a very comfortable stay.

The hotel is clean and well taken care of, everything looks new inside, there is even an elevator inside to reach your floor, not a common feature in this type of buildings on the mointains. They have a deal with a few restaurants around town so eating is cheap and one can simply eat at a different place every night. The staff is great, very helpful, professional, efficient and corteous. The only thing I didn't like about this place is that I could stay just 2 nights but not more. I'm going to miss my time here, it's a great place!

Situation of property for walks into the park excellent, hotel newly refurbished and delightful. Breakfast really good - no evening meals available at this time but reciprocal arrangements with places nearby with discounts was advised.

Family business, very attentive to needs of customers! Beautiful setting and lots of mountain views. Several villages that are protected from developers. A nice early 1900 feeling.

The hotel location is fantastic! Just a walk away from the trails, wish we had spent a few more nights there instead!

WOW, I absolutely loved my stay in this hotel! I travelled alone, but the whole staff made me feel so welcome and relaxed. The two daughters (around my age) were really helpful, regarding practical 'stuff'; and I really appreciated their enthusiasm and support regarding me climbing the Gran Paradiso summit! The breakfast is incredible! Luckily all the hours of walking evened it out calory wise ;). Hotel Herbetet is located in beautiful and very quiet Valnontey, ideal starting point for many magnificant (long) hikes. I wish I could have stayed longer, this region is perfect for nature-loving hikers. The nice little mountain village Cogne is just a quick walk (or drive) away and provides you with cute shops, very good espressos, additional restaurants an a small supermarket. I will definitely return to this hotel some day (hopefully in the near future)!

Merveilleux petit emplacement familial, les hôtes sont incroyablement gentils et disponibles, le petit déjeuner est excellent, la région est magnifique, nous avons adoré!

Un'eccellente base per escursioni nella zona, in un villaggio a 3 chilometri da Cogne. Atmosfera accogliente e familiare, ottimo per un soggiorno prolungato. Da ritornarci sicuramente.
