We booked this property based on the rating and it was a very disappointing experience. Our room was the terrace room (4 flights of stairs). We seemed to be the only guests. We arrived very late at night, so I understand not getting a welcome drink as advertised. However, there was no drinking/bottled water provided either. The room was dusty and the bathroom was terrible. YOU CANNOT CLOSE THE BATHROOM DOOR FROM INSIDE AND LATCH IT. No privacy!!! The walls were moldy. There were NO BATH TOWELS (only hand towels). No toilet paper holder and the bathroom amenities are packets of Pantene shampoo. The room gets noisy with a banging sound. When talking with the manager the next day, I was told that drinking water would be provided on request only and I had to ask. Amenities like hairdryer is shared and they apparently had a large group the previous night, so all the bath towels were unavailable. The fact that there isn’t a latch on the bathroom (important for privacy) and the walls are moldy and rooms are dusty made us cut our stay short and move to a different hotel immediately. This review is based solely on our experience with the terrace room (one king bed and one twin bed). The owner will very likely not take this feedback and retort as if everything is fine. However, having stayed in multiple riads in Morocco, we can confidently say that this was a terrible experience. I hope this feedback is taken constructively as the courtyard is nice.

Beautiful courtyard and very tasty breakfast. The room was quiet and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. The rooftop terrace provided a lovely view of the surroundings and will be a pleasant place to sit, especially later in the season.

We had a marvellous peaceful stay. The property is beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Our host was extremely gracious and took us (so that we didn’t get lost in the maze of streets) to the most wonderful restaurant. His recommendation was superb and my favourite of the trip. In fact, the food was in my opinion better than a very exclusive restaurant we visited in Marrakesh.

We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the AC was not the greatest, and we found sleeping hard due to the heat. The staff were great at lending us their own fan so that we had some air flow to sleep. They were also very accommodating and very helpful.

Beautiful riad in a great location. The architecture of the Riad is intricate and authentic. Just a five minute walk to the Blue gate. Nicely decorated rooms with lots of Moroccan charm. The mattresses were a lot firmer than we are used to but the beds were very clean. The AC in the room worked great and there was hot water in the shower. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very hospitable.

Room was ok. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Hot water slow to heat up. There’s noise every time when the ventilation switch was turned on which disturbed the occupants in the next room. However, Patrick the owner is a very pleasant person who always making sure our stay is as comfortable as possible. He’s a very helpful person, he helped to arrange our pack breakfast since we have to leave early for our trip. He even arranged for our airport transfer on our last day. We really enjoyed our stay there, apart from the earlier problems mentioned awhich are manageable. We really miss Patrick’s and the staff’s hospitality. We will definitely stay there again if we were to visit Fes again.

Close to taxi circle. 5 min walk to Blue Gates. Staff was super friendly! Breakfast was delicious and cute. Riad was beautiful!! Felt like we were staying in a mini palace. Amazing color and details in every room. Rooftop had nice view of city outskirts. Would definitely recommend and the price was a steal!

Such a beautifully restored riad, right near the Blue Gate. A peaceful retreat with such friendly and careful service. Also the most fabulous and huge tagine cooked for us on our final night! Thank you Patrick and Mohammed.

My wife son and I stayed three nights in Fes and very happy with our stay. We initially had some trouble finding the Riad, but that is expected with most Riads in the area. The managers Patrick and Mohommad were very accommodating and made us feel at home right away. Breakfast was simple but very delicious, I am not a fan of bread in the morning but their fresh warm bread was delicious. We also had dinner in the Riad on our last night and wished we had scheduled it a few more times since it was just as delicious as the local fancy restaurants yet less expensive and larger portions. We stayed in the top room which had a quick access to the terrace. A manager was always around in the lobby to answer any questions and offer advice. On our check out early in the morning at 4 a.m. they called a airport shuttle and walked us a short walked up the street making sure we departed on time.

Good quiet location to explore both inside and outside of medina. Easy to find and accessible for pick up n drop off. Breakfast plentiful coffee good. Staff very helpful. Cooked dinner for us on request. Plenty of hot water great pressure in shower. If you dont like stairs suggest ground floor. Would recommend.

We had an amazing time staying 6 nights at this very well well restored and comfortable Riad. Miriam, Saida, Mohommed and Abdul were incredibly attentive and helpful and made our Fez stay very special. The location is right on the doorstep of the old Medina and easy to find. Make sure you check out the views from the roof and spoil yourself with a dinner at the Riad (a little costly by local standards but a real treat). We would definitely stay here again!

We arrived at Riad Shereyne and were blown away by how beautiful it was...absolutely spectacular! The manager had arranged us to be collected from the airport as we were arriving late at night. We were given a mint tea and relaxed for a while in the most beautiful seating reception area. The staff especially the main house keeper were so polite and welcoming and did everything to make our stay wonderful. Attention to detail, service and requests were met promptly and efficiently. They have a roof terrace and it was wonderful looking out at the amazing views. Being up there was amazing at sunset...all the birds grouping in the sky and listening to the call to prayer booming out of the mosques was hypnotic. We were told of tours that could be arranged so we chose to book a day trip to the Mid Atlas mountains with one of their drivers which was fantastic! Would recommend this riad in a heartbeat.
