Nicely positioned for caister beach which is a fairly short walk and was fairly quiet when we went. Parking was always available around the corner and the pub is closed so no noise from there as that is next door. The property was spacious for us and the kitchen well kitted out. Two toilets was convenient and has a small outsie space. There were some minor improvements needed to decor, some re decorating would help. The first room inside the front door is very musty and the main lounge couch was also musty. The upstairs needs a grab rail on the landing and in the bathroom as getting in and out of the shower is difficult for 60 year olds. All minor issues that are easily improved on. I appreciated the welcoming emails but no so much the blunt ones about time of departure but I imagine the hosts have had previous issues.

Great base for our family holiday to Caister. Well appointed had everything you would need. Plenty of towels which was good as we needed one in the kitchen for drying hands. Did not mention in advert that was right next door to a pub, most nights this was not an issue as the bedrooms are at the front, but on the Saturday there was a live band in the pub which was very loud and went on until 11.30pm. The glazing at the front of the property was great and kept most of the traffic noise out, unless you wanted the window open, but road was not super busy later in evening so not really an issue. Parking in the pub car park is free and very easy, always got a space. just a couple of things to note, the mattress on the king bed in the larger of the two bedrooms was very hard! The bunk beds had the ladder right behind the door so you did need to double check before going in the room! the sofa bed in the lounge, someone has put the brackets on the wrong way, so the arm rest does not actually connect to the sofa, so be careful not to lean on it! Lidl & Co-op walkable for supplies, and a great little bakery almost next door for fresh bread, the local Chinese (also next door) was good and very popular so get your order in early. very easy to get to Grt Yarmouth in 15 mins by car, walkable beach nearby, plenty of restaurants & takeaways walkable from cottage.

Had an amazing time in this cottage it is decorated and furnished to a luxury level. Location is Caister on Sea situated in the town which is a 5 minute walk to beach. It is 2min walk from shops and supermarket with traditional bakery next to it for fresh bread. Also every type of food takeaway is on the door step!! My wife and 2 young children loved this cottage and Norfolk travelling 10 minutes by car to Great Yarmouth to spend some time visiting the seafront amusements. Five Star!!!

Lovely cottage which is extremely close to the beach, roughly an 8 minute walk. Plenty of shops to get food with supermarkets less than 5 minutes away.
