I guess i didnt read the description as this is a shared residence. Staff was very nice and hospital. Its just not my preference of lodging.

The room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly modern. I had difficulty finding the place and then when I got there, there was no one there. I phoned the number on the door and was told to go to a restaurant back downtown to check in. I paid extra to upgrade to a room with a private bathroom. However, once all that was sorted I had a nice stay and the restaurant turned out to be good too. The staff were outstanding.

Friendly, easy location to find.

Booked this as one of the few properties on Expedia for the area. Reached out twice, pre-arrival, for clarity on check in. Never happened. Arrived at 2, and check in wasn't till 3, even though the place wasn't close to being full. At check in, was charged more than the reserved price. Messaged the property again, using the Expedia site so there was a record, and never heard back. Don't trust this place. Stay somewhere else.

Traveled by motorcycle and repeat customer. Convenient location, within walking distance of essentials for travelers. Friendly service. Restaurant delivery available.

Not a hotel, motel, or B&B, and a bit of a confusing check in process, but perfect for a one-night sleep while travelling. The owner was super pleasant and accommodating with our late check in. With limited options in Chapleau, I recommend staying at the Crestview Guest House if you're an adult looking for a souped-up, private, hostel pad.

The facility was great if you want a room house but when we booked on Expedia we thought we were booking Executive Suite so we would not have stayed here. Was clean but you share a washroom with the other rooms. The room we had was very small.

Yuck. Shared everything, including bathrooms. Bedroom was and incredibly old bed and frame which squeaked just by sitting on it. Key was missing from key box when we arrived. While I realize Chapleau is a small town. But just YUCK

It was okay. Like a bording house. Community bathrooms and large kitchen area. Beds are horrible. Sleeping on a box spring no mattress. No air conditioning! It was in a box on the floor

Shared bathroom with other guests and not 3 pc bathrooms at that.. Just not convenient or private. Beds also had lots to be desired.

Terrible furniture, no central air, room and property in total disrepair.

Restaurant served good food with a lot of selections but the room was small with no air conditioning.

Of all the pictures, only the ones of the front and back of the building were accurate

Stay was great

All it was was a small room, with use of central bathroom. The owner is only available by phone; he does not come to the property. The room we had was very warm, while the hallway was cooler.

We loved that we could come and go at leisure. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. We shared bathrooms but they were pretty clean all the time. Beds were very comfortable.

Really laud, too many people in house. Due covid special. Only 2 bathrooms share with all guests, not clean

Everything is good, the host is so friendly and helpful.
