Just an overnight stay but it was a great, kinda of rustic feel, would definitely stay again

The welcoming staff were courteous. The hotel breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The French Quarter was in walking distance. The hotel room was apartment size and wonderful. I would stay at the Mercantile again and recommend others as well. Great stay!!

Very clean and easy check in process. Close enough to walk anywhere.

Hotel was convenient to everything. One issue was the water in the shower would not get hot. We choose valet parking,but at checkout it took over 35 minutes to get the car. Other than that a good hotel.

Overall I liked the stay. We stayed there before and it was nice but next time I think I’ll stay elsewhere. The coffee machine in our room was not working. The body wash ran out after the first night (like it’s never refilled after a stay). The hallways are super cold!! They still don’t have room service (daily clean up or turndown). The sofa in our room can use one of those board so you don’t sink into it which made it very uncomfortable to sit on. The breakfast was okay. They offered the same thing daily (could switch it up). I did like the bar tender. She was the sweetest! I liked that a new coffee machine was waiting in the room when we returned but it was in the box brand new and i had to open it and put it together myself. I do like that the hotel is located in a convenient spot. I can walk to multiple places.

It was average. Nice staff but it could have been better. Breakfast could have had more options.

Our room door had to pulled hard to close and open. Random loud noise all night every 5 seconds or so. The curtains were torn up and the bathroom was decent but needs a good scrub. Beds and pillows were pretty comfortable, breakfast was included and very good. We did have to wait awhile for our rig even after we had called a bit before going down.

This hotel is definitely a hidden gem. Very close to the Convention Center, Riverwalk Shops, French Quarter and the Superdome. Leisurely walk to everything. Clean rooms, nice breakfast and very pleasant staff!
