we had a great stay! very clean and cozy rooms, really nice view from our room at least :) would definitely recommend, and the location is perfect if you want to stay closer to restaurants, tour operators and shops

It is a shame, the hotel itself is very nice but due to our experience on the tour they provided i can't recommend it. The overnight tour was a borderline scam. Hours of standing about in a car park, no food for allergic and religious people despite them telling the tour before hand, overbooked rooms forcing 4 strangers to share 2 person rooms, the promise of a 'delicious pad thai' to turn up to boiled veg and white rice. All for the low price of 3000 baht!!! When we returned we obviously weren't happy with all this and we waited for 1 hour for an english speaking member of staff but none arrived. The hotel provides many different tours and activities some may be good but based on this experience I would stay way clear.

Check in was easy, staff was helpful with booking a daytrip to the lake. The trip was amazing and the guide Woody was the best guide we could’ve wished for. The rooms are spacious and everything worked well, the bed was the hardest bed I have ever seen and the reason why I’m only giving 4 stars. The rooftop terrace where the breakfast is served is stunning. Would recommend staying here.

I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. The room I was given was much smaller than what was shown in the pictures when I booked—almost claustrophobic. To make matters worse, the receptionist was rude and unhelpful, adding unnecessary stress to my experience. Additionally, there was no room service available, which is something I had expected. Overall, I did not feel comfortable or welcomed during my stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hands off. If it would be possible I would give 0 stars. I have never had such a bad hotel experience on my Thailand trip as in this hotel. The owner was incredibly unfriendly and rude to us. We wanted to check in at 2:30 pm, after we were told that we had to wait half an hour because the room had to be cleaned, we went for a coffee. When we came back we were told to wait again for half an hour. Then 20 minutes - cheek. When we could finally check in, we wanted to negotiate the price, because we could only check in 2 1/2 hours later. This was not even remotely addressed. Instead, the owner said "then you can look for another accommodation". They could have just offered us a Coca Cola as compensation, but nothing came. Very sad treatment of the guests. In my opinion, an absolute no-go. It was also not possible to book any transportation because the staff was not able to communicate with us in englisch or even tried through google translation. We booked transportation via coco hostel (right next to it). The room was also not really clean: we had long black hairs on the sheets. We stayed for just one night - gladly.
