Great place to stay ( especially for Goodwood races - only 20mins away ) . Quirky , great staff , food and drink spot on . Jess was the star of the show

Room dusty, bathroom not clean enough. No coffee pods for machine Poor breakfast buffet Garden closed due to sewer problems(regular issue apparently) Lack of management on site Luxury room accessed by garbage area fire escape Over priced food

Often drive past the Welldiggers pub, and decided to stay for a wedding event for a couple of nights. Room was lovely and cosy, view was even better. Great little stay.

Loved the rustic feel of an old Inn, breakfast was amazing, we did not dine is as we were meeting friends. The room felt very cosy and we liked the Butcombe brand so much that we have booked another inn from their range for the next leg of our road trip

Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu is excellent but we did find the evening menu a little basic and limited.

Lovely property, nice room but would have loved a view, staff were great. Shower was the biggest let down for pressure and time to get hot but managed.

Beautiful views from the room and peaceful night’s stay. Staff were excellent - consistently great service. Dinner was also excellent.
