A faultless stay.

Staff is wonderful, hotel is clean and very comfortable.

The location was good - 10 minutes walk from the station and convenient for local buses and close to the centre so local restaurants etc were close. The hotel provided a Ticino ticket for us to use for free travel on local buses and trains. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. We dined in the hotel on a couple of occasions and the food and service was good. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

I loved the views from my balcony!! The staff were so nice and willing to answer my questions. It was a great place to relax after a busy day out and about!

Room was spacious for two of us, and bathroom was as well. It reminds me it was important. We had comfortable stay at this room and hotel.

We stayed with our 2 teens and appreciated the twin beds for them. Hotel is clean and has air conditioning but it wasn't very efficient. It's right across from a large parkade that is connected to one of the castles. The dinner was very expensive in the hotel. This was halfway point of our trip so I went about 15 minutes away to a laundromat that was very clean. Grocery and pharmacies nearby.

This location is a very convenient to everything to include a grocery store right across the street. While on our balcony, we had a view of the castles and it was amazing to have glass of wine and enjoy the views.

The Hotel Unione and Bellinzona served as an ideal base of operation for us to visit Ticino.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were newly renovated, clean and well equipped. There’s also a nice view of the castelgrande. The only downside is the vehicle traffic noise but can be solved by closing the balcony door. We will stay here again.

Hotel Unione is in a great central location -- an easy walk from the train station, to Castelgrande, old town, and lots of great restaurants. The room was clean, had working air conditioning to make it comfortable in summer heat, motorized blinds to keep the room dark for sleeping in, had a safe, and a comfortable bed. Check in was fast and easy. My room had a view of all three castles in Bellinzona.

Friendly and warm service from the staff, hotel is decent and clean, good value for the price, location is perfect when visiting the 3 castles, a big restaurant with public parking beside the hotel with two slots for EV. If you plan to visit the castle and want a short stay, this hotel is perfect for you. The only downside is the ad for the special menu is all over the place and when we ordered for it in the restaurant, it wasn't available, turns out to be a specialty for each day but not everyday
