It's ok

We were in the area to take part in an event so wanted a convenient, no-frills base for a couple of nights. Hostal Villa fitted the bill perfectly. Being located a block away from the river it was really convenient for nice morning and evening strolls. Our event was on the outskirts of Cádiz, only about a 15 minute drive away, so this location was convenient, but enabled us to stay outside of the busy city. The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful.

The only problem I had was that there were ants in the room

It's hard to find in a narrow alley, impossible to stop the car anywhere for check in, after that we can get a parking spot across the road for 5 euro. Hotel staff does not speak english, but friendly enough. Bed is thin, bathroom adequate with free toiletries. There's breakfast for 2.75 euro consists of: orange juice, coffee baguette with butter and cheese, which is quite cheap and nice.

La habitacion daba miedito, sucia y con un olor a rancio insoportable. Abandoné el hostal tras la primera noche pese a la perdida del importe.

El alojamiento está muy bien situado y comunicado. Al lado del centro, y muy muy cerca del tranvía y de la estación de autobuses. Muy limpio. Personal muy amable y la recepción está operativa las 24 horas del día.

En general el hostal esta muy bien y tiene todo muy cerca, lo unico que habia que estar entregando las llaves de la habitación cada vez que nos ibamos y avisar de que nos abrieran el parking (5 € al dia) (es un solar sin techos) cada vez que cogiamos o dejabamos el coche. No hay nevera dentro de las habitaciones, lo sigo por si vais en verano.

Bien de precio y para una noche. Para más noches no lo recomiendo, la primera planta donde me alojé olía a marihuana y a tabaco, bajo las dos camas de mi habitación individual había cenizas de haber fumado dentro de la habitación. Otra cosa que informan es que cada vez que salgas debes entregar la llave de la habitación, cosa que no se entiende.
