Great location, clean rooms, and staff were helpful. A 10 minutes drive from Hofn.

Decent stay

We are a group of 3 adults. Our room was in a seperate building adjacent to the main building . The room and the building we are in felt like an office building. The room is spacious. The room is very clean. Two pillows for each bed makes a better sleep. There are plenty of parking spaces on the ground. Breakfast was good and plenty. The breakfast room was in the main building .

Super spacious family suite with two, separated sleeping areas. Spacious bathroom. Very clean throughout. Older place, but very nicely maintained. The new Ring Road 1 now bypasses this wonderful hotel, but it is definitely worth backtracking a few kilometers to stay here.

It’s in a remote location, so it would be good to have some amenities like a hot tub or pool. Other than that, it’s a nice hotel.

The hotel staff at the reception was extremely rude in the morning and wont budge of checkout time by even minutes and told us if we were not out by 11AM, we will be charged another 10000isk. We arrived late at 2 AM

The front desk staff was a delight; she was very patient and helpful with our questions. The room was clean and free of clutter. An affordable and easy-to-find option in Hofn.

Stayed here for 1 night of our road trip along the ring road for our honeymoon and it was lovely! Plenty of parking, the room was very clean and nice with a beautiful view of the mountains! Everything from the rooms to common areas seem to have been very recently updated with nice design. The staff was incredibly lovely and kind, they even left a cute little postcard in our room with a handwritten note congratulating us on our wedding/honeymoon! Such a sweet touch. Very close to the cute little town of Hofn, about 10 minutes by car. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in hofn!

The staff was great. However, there is no air-conditioning or screen on the window. At a minimum without air-conditioning or a screen on the window, a fan should be provided to move the air.

Decent location but the hotel is old with paper thin walls. I could hear the person in the room next to me snoring. I could also hear the hallway noise when people lock and lock their doors. I got bitten by midges in the room while I slept. There are much better hotels in Iceland.

Wow! We had a great stay! We had a room for 3 with a private bathroom. The room was so spacious. We ate at the restaurant on site. We had the carrot soup, veggie plate, cod, and lamb burger. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend you eat there. They also serve breakfast which was perfect and so easy.

Not near glacier lagoon 55 miles away even though it shows up in the search

Nice, clean rooms. Great common area where guests gathered to socialize and play cards (and watch World Cup) at night. Was nice to be close to town with restaurants and shops but close enough to activities in Southern Iceland.
