We spent four nights at the Deganwy this week, and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is ideally located for walking the few hundred yards into Looe for the shops, historical pubs, and great restaurants. Donna is lovely, and very friendly. Breakfast at the Deganwy is awesome! You won't need lunch. It's cooked to order, and their 'Full Welsh' is all you could ask for. Our room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless. We found the bed rather soft and felt that the bedding and towels were well used and could do with replacing. There was no privacy lock on the bathroom door. A reserved parking space is a real bonus in Looe, and which we greatly appreciated. The wifi is super-fast and rock solid in an area where the mobile signal can be a bit intermittent. We'd happily stay here again.

We were greeted unfriendly. The room was stuffy and smelled bad. The photos are nowhere near the reality. We agreed on a time for breakfast and nobody was there. After ringing the bell and calling the phone with no answer I had to get breakfast in town. Even though we planned on staying three nights, we left after the first which was a shame because the town and the location were very charming

Had a lovely six day stay with host Donna at the Deganwy. It's a perfect place to stay with a very short walk into town. The rooms are clean and tidy. Ensuite was good but our room had poor water pressure so there was a wait for warm water. Breakfast was fabulous especially fried bread and sausages, with all you could ask for. If you want a clean well run guesthouse in Looe near the centre and beach there's very few better. Give it a go!

Had a great stay last week with Donna fab host. Breakfast perfect and plenty of choice. Room really good and comfortable. Will be definitely going back

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely, warm, and friendly guest house during our holiday in July this year. Donna was a fabulous hotelier, very friendly, very helpful, and very welcoming. The rooms were always cleaned after guests. There was a good choice of breakfasts, and if you needed an earlier breakfast for the following morning, you only needed to let Donna know, and she would have it ready for you. I would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone, and we hope to return one day. Great views from the front of the house, too, overlooking the Harbour. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your lovely hotel. 😍
