Stayed here on a whim, it did not disappoint. Visited once before for drinks and food while working in local area.

The rooms are Spartan with paper, thin walls. To access the sleeping area you must climb a set of stairs. Two stars is accurate description of the accommodations. However, the location is awesome inside a castle. The restaurant was wonderful. The food was delicious. I would definitely seek out the restaurant again.

I think there were maybe 6 rooms total. It was a very cool set of rooms in a castle. Wouldn’t be appropriate for people with physical disabilities or the very old because bedroom was upstairs and bathroom downstairs. We loved the unique style.

Beautiful stay in a historic castle! The spacious, well-equipped rooms were cozy and full of charm. The on-site bar and restaurant served delicious food, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Perfect mix of history, comfort, and relaxation—highly recommend!

Arrived 2am and to my surprise everything was locked up however after calling a very nice patient and courteous gentleman immediately opened the door and attended to us.
Breakfast could be made somewhat more exciting...

It was a unique experience staying in a refurbished castle. Being that it was chilly outside, it was nice to have a nice cozy room to in which to relax. We were a little disappointed that the main dining room was closed due to heating issues, but we enjoyed a tasty meal if Spanish specialties in the bar area.

The place it's really nice and the rooms as well, nicely equipped and big. The only negative issue was that you could hear absolutely everything from the nearby room. Breakfast was a bit meager (one slice of bread with ham and tomatoes or with butter and marmalade), a small glass of orange juice, and one coffee.

A perfect place in this quit little town, the owner spent a lot of money renovating this old castle and it shows. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I would think in the summer months parking might not be as easy.
It wasn't obvious how to get into the Hotel I would think it
more obvious in summer months as doors would be open?

very reasonably priced and extremely spacious room with sitting room. Nice and quiet so got a good nights sleep. Manzanares is an attractive village for an evening stroll and a good stop off if driving across Spain as only five minutes south of the main motorway less hassle than driving into Ciudad Real

Great place.Major problem for us was the separate bathroom down very noisy stairs. Also you can hear your neighbors walking around, talking and tv.We were also next to the lift so again aware of every time it was used.Food and drinks were good but expensive.

Very nice small castle. Great local food. Great prices too. I would totally recommend it. You can visit the manchego cheese museum only 5 blocks from there.

It's a castle what more is there to say and parts of it date to the 12th century
