Great staff food and room comfort. Only improvement would be a brighter light in the room.

We arrived earlier than check in ,our room was ready, we were taken up to our room by a lovely friendly lad,Room was very large, we went down to the bar,had a gorgeous meal,the bed was extremely comfortable and room was spotless, tea and coffee making facilities with lovely biscuits, breakfast was served between 8 and 9.30 again lovely staff,breakfast was a 10 out of 10,local produce and plenty of it .

This was a lovely place to stay, you can’t walk to town but the rooms are well appointed, breakfast and dinner were very good and the staff were efficient and friendly. My only negative is the check in is 5.30pm which is late and not in line with many other establishments. 4pm would have suited us better. Overall very good enjoyable stay

our fourth stay here and if anything the food has got even better. Didn't manage to get our usual room, No.5, even so, an excellent stay.

Excellent and hard working staff and owner. I enjoyed a lovely meal on the evening and then a comfortable night sleep in a modern room with all the amenities I would have wanted. Breakfast was delicious and the service again was great. Would definably recommend.

Gorgeous! We cannot recommend enough! The kindness and smiles were abundant and our rooms perfect, comfortable and the small details made us feel very looked after.

A very well run establishment with friendly efficient staff. Gluten free options were available and an extensive reasonably priced wine list. Great service and attention to detail. Room was warm and comfortable with fluffy towels.

The property was spot less and the food fantastic and the staff extremely friendly.

Overall we had a nice stay, but there were one or two issues with the room, upon arrival the room was freezing cold, we had to contact the owner to arrange for the heating to be turned on which they did, there were no instructions for anything in the room, for example operation of the tv or lighting, we literally switched things on and off and waited for them to work, not ideal. The evening meal was of good quality, but the breakfast was a bit disappointing, very little choice and not particularly well cooked. It’s a shame we were disappointed with our stay, and we won’t be returning. One other issue was in the bathroom, the bath tub was not non slip, and no none slip mats were provided, there were also no grab rails to assist with getting in and out of the bath, not great at 67 years old and dodgy knees.
