Our bedroom, whilst one of the dearer ones, was incredibly noisy from the traffic outside. Think the room could have benefited from triple glazed windows. Also would have liked some cold meats and cheese on the breakfast buffet.

I’m 67 years old and I can honestly say it’s the freshly cooked breakfast I’ve ever been served 👍💪

Loved the hotel. Placed in a very good location, easy to get to where we needed to be.

Great food, good size rooms and comfy beds. Would get a higher rating if bathroom and shower were better.

We stayed in the house next door to the hotel. Lovely room. Needed some more electric sockets though.

One night stay. Modern updated room with great bathroom and bath. The taps were a concern since the water could shoot out the sink! Bed comfortable but didn’t like the pine posts made to resemble four poster bed. They detracted from the room making it appear smaller and one post was in the way of the tv. Room hot but there was an air conditioning unit that could be used.

Our stay was wonderful. On arrival I asked if our room was overlooking the canal- it wasn’t but the receptionist swiftly changed it. Lovely room with balcony - the bed was really comfy & a handy fan was useful. The breakfasts were fantastic with big choice. I loved the fresh fruit salad. Staff all very friendly & helpful. Very easy to walk into town along the towpath - we had an excellent visit

Nice hotel in convenient place for town centre and right next to the canal. Great breakfast.

Pleasant room in great location at a reasonable cost

Stay was good. Food good! Cleanliness let it down abit. Few hairs on bathroom floor and a couple on toilet. Came down to breskfast and dog hair on stairs and on the floor in the bar area alot of dog hairs. I understand they let pets stay which i dont mind but the hair needs to be removed

Very good staff and hotel. Awful pillows hard and flat. No tea making facility in room otherwise fine. Would take my own pillow next time.

The building could do with air conditioning,our room,17,would have been unbearable without a fan.

We had a 3-night stay to attend a wedding locally. All went well until Sunday morning when the breakfast was so slow in our order being taken and its non-delivery before we had to leave. Our complaint was met with courtesy "the kitchen is very busy and every one came in at once". Apologies hardly compensated for no cooked breakfast which we were depending upon. A threat of a poor review must have encouraged the management to email us whilst we were out for the day and offered a refund and apologies for the lack of sustenance. So, we felt satisfied that we were compensated and we think a lesson was learnt. I would stay there again. Our superior room overlooking the canal was worth the extra.

Very comfortable 2 night stay. Cleanliness of room was good and bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was good. We ate in the hotel restaurant on one evening and the only negative comment was that they forgot to bring our drinks initially and the food service was slow. The meal was excellent when we got it.

A lovely building. We had a room overlooking the canal. It was goid that we had a little door to open as room was so hot, even though we had a fan.

It was very noisy we couldn’t open the wi Dow as the heavy traffic continued all night. The Dan in the room was noisy too. Dangerous step n the bathroom caused my husband and I to trip over several times. We upgraded expecting g a quiet room with a view how wrong we were!!! Wharfe Room
