Comfortable stay and the room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Daniel at the front desk gave us good suggestions.

The staff was amazing especially the front desk receptionist. Everything was 10/10. Spent my bday there and had the best time ever. Rooms were modern,clean and property had charm to it.

This hotel was amazing! The views of the lake from our room were incredible and we enjoyed every second of it. Breakfast was included and it was pretty solid. The vibe was incredibly calm, friendly and just an overall great place to lay our heads for a couple of nights.

We loved our stay in this beautiful area! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They even provided a golf cart to help transport our luggage to our room, which was a thoughtful touch and made check-in much easier. The bed was very comfortable, and the views of the lake and surrounding landscape were absolutely stunning. It was such a peaceful place that I easily could have stayed longer. The only suggestion I have is to provide a fan in the rooms during the summer months. With 24 hours of daylight, we wanted to keep the blackout curtains closed while sleeping, but that also blocked the wonderful breeze from the open window. A fan would make the room even more comfortable. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property. Clean, elegantly adorned in yellow. Could have stayed here much longer. Dinner was excellent. Had Arctic Char. Breakfast was perfect. Staff helpful and friendly. Homemade rhubarb jam!!!! Oversized bathrooms. Beds facing the windows for viewing of the wonderful scenery.

This place has amazing views and amenities no matter which room you book. We would certainly return and hope to someday!

A beautiful hotel. The property is spectacular-a short walk thru beautiful grounds to the beach front and a waterfall! The staff is fantastic. Helpful and really friendly. We wish we could stay longer.

This was our favorite place of the 7 places we stayed. The setting is beautiful! The rooms are great and have such beautiful views with one whole wall being windows! We didn't use it but appreciate there was a golf cart they let you use to transport your luggage to your room. Breakfast was perfect! Location was perfect, close to hiking and a small town.

This place was so wonderful that we wished we could have stayed longer, for the peacefulness and calm and to use the hot tubs. Our very comfortable room had direct access to a nice path to a beach on Lake Lagarfljót and waterfall, plenty of lupines nearby also, still early for them. We sat in the room chairs after delicious dinner until late enjoying the view which never stopped because of the long daylight hours. Breakfast was full of options with very delicious food, including fresh baked croissants. Highly recommended if you're in the eastern region of Iceland.

Absolutely gorgeous place! Room was spacious with wonderful views of Lagarfljót. Staff was welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. I stayed 3 nights and was sad to leave. Highly recommend Hotel 1001 Nott!

Room was very spacious, when we arrived the staff helped us to our room and gave us plenty of recommendations on things to do in the area. We walked the property and it was very well kept - beautiful views on both sides. Breakfast was delicious, lots of options to choose from. Would highly recommend!
