It is well located and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. You're basically in the town centre and buses go to many nice places around the area.

Good location, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Also a very low price for June so we were really surprised. The staff were very friendly and efficent.

We enjoyed a 4 night stay here for a sailing competition. Easy walk to the Yacht club. Very friendly hotel owner and family, decent sized room. Breakfast was also excellent with great and prompt service. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as lovely as the first time We recommended it to our friends who booked there to stay too Very welcoming host and the hotel is so clean and the rooms kept in an excellent condition I will be booking again for next year

Average hotel. We had to ask for towels as the room did not have any. The hot water in the shower only lasted a couple of minutes so my partner was not able to have a shower. The host was nice but it was like staying in Faulty Towers where an older Manuel now owned the hotel.

Ideal for my needs.

Our free upgrade to a beautiful king size room with balcony was just what we were looking for in our short Torquay stay. The whole hotel was clean, our bathroom was spotless, the balcony had wonderful views of surrounding villas, green areas and of course the sunny view down to the water! Ganesh couldn’t have been more welcoming upon arrival and he provided us with all the information we needed. We had a super comfortable night on the mattress and the room had stunning high ceilings yet felt warm! We highly recommend The Hudson and cannot wait for our next visit back to this lovely Torquay accommodation.

Great family owned Hotel. Really good room with a balcony,very light and airy,the balcony wea a plus in the hot weather! Room was well equipped fans are available on request, very comfortable bed and very clean! The free car park was a bonus,parking behind the hotel can be a little tight if you have a big car but you get a pass for the council cor park a little up the hill that was also good to park! The breakfast was very good and set you up for the day! The owners were welcoming, nothing was too much trouble a really nice couple! The location was great only a 5 minute walk to the inner harbour and every kind of restraint you could want right on your doorstep!Would definitely recommend!

On arrival the hosts were amazing and really friendly nothing was too much trouble Ganesh even helped take the luggage to our room Everything was clean and tidy The room was comfortable and clean with added little touches alongside the normal requirements The breakfast was exceptional. Thank you Ganesh and Mrs G you made our stay perfect we can’t wait to be able to visit again Angie and Phil

Good Clean, well maintained guest house close to the town centre.

this was a very short visit to Torquay and we were not in the Hotel other than to sleep. If you have a car they will give you a car parking permit and you can park your car in a big car park at the back of the hotel, you have to drive past the hotel away from Torquay and take the first left and it is at the top of the hill. You are near the front and also restaurants so location is good. There are steps up to the hotel entrance and then stairs to the rooms. If you have mobility issues then you need a room on the ground floor but you still about 20 steps up to the entrance.

A very good hotel. Clean and host was excellent could not fault it. Cant wait to go back

Lovely night away. Lovely size room with balcony and king size bed. Little fridge. Central to the town. Traffic nosey but when door's were shut was peaceful. Lovely friendly host and nice breakfast.
