Really enjoyed our stay here! After having our own villa in tenerife in the past we had not been for a couple of years and wanted to come and look at some property for a week. This was the best value for a family of 4 in the area by far nice big spacious 2 bedroom room and a good sized balcony! We opted for breakfast and lunch as it wasn't much more than breakfast on its own. Nice warm pools friendly staff and sun all day around the pool area. Had a little gym and a nice spa and small climbing frame for young children. Its about a 20 minute walk to cental las americas but nice and quiet on the outskirts. We had a hire car for the week and parking is limited outside the hotel but managed to get one every day. It costs to park in the hotel ground 40 euros for a week or 10 euros per day. Would 100% stop here again

Reception is always crowded due to only one person at the desk at any time. Phone in the room doesn’t work. Patio door is unsecured due to poor maintenance. Razor left in shower mysteriously disappeared after cleaners attended. WiFi to the room is weak and intermittent. On site shop doesn’t sell any soft drinks except water and the prices of what they do sell are ridiculous!! €1 charge for ice from the bar. Rude staff when you ask too. We had four cubes of ice in a paper cup and that cost €1. I’ve NEVER been charged for ice at a hotel ever. Breakfast is nice. Great coffee. Bacon is dodgy. Looks like reconstituted bacon bits squeezed into. Loaf which they carve and cook like bacon. Tastes okay though. Generally a nice hotel. But I think they’re letting the obviously vast amount of maintenance that needs doing; just get worse and worse. Definitely not a four star hotel anymore. A bit disappointed if I’m honest.

Me and my husband stayed at the Gara Suites for 5 days and 4 nights, and would definitely recommend to families and travellers as it was really worth the money. We booked a suite with a balcony and the room was equipped with a kitchen and living room, which was a big plus for us since we could cook. The breakfast had a great variety as well and the poolside was great and really clean. What I would say is the reception is always busy with only 2 people working there, so the queue can really build up, especially when checking in and checking out, but other than that, we had a great stay. Would book again for sure!

Hotel was spotless, our room was amazing, spread out over 2 floors. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way for you. Room cleaned daily. Hotel pool is lovely and warm. No rush for sun loungers as there’s loads. Bingo was great fun! Made extra fun by the young lady (I forget her name) Ideal location. 20 minute walk from the town (€6 euro taxi) 10 minute walk to Siam Mall (€4 euro taxi) I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I’d definitely stay again.

Great hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the breakfast was good, and the spa was great value. The pool is nice — not the deepest, but it has plenty of loungers to relax on. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful throughout the stay.
