great little house to relax in on the island. 15 min walk to the downtown so we can wander around to play, do some museums, eat different food, etc. very quiet and low key so we didn't have to worry about late night noise, allowing us to rest up well. amenities were nice and the room was comfortable. cozy little kitchen let us get ready for the day

Our guest was so kind! Allowed us to do our laundry (which was very needed!), had lots of great recommendations and kept the house very clean! Always easy to reach by phone when needed.

Nice big sunroom to relax in with an area view. The kitchen is a full kitchen and large fridge. One of the descriptions said you can purchase breakfast, but that’s not true we found out.

Communication was phenomenal, made it very easy to know exactly where to go and made our stay all the better for it!

It was good, but it took a long time to receive instructions to enter the unit, and the instructions were very convoluted.

Very cute property. It was neat staying in a guesthouse. We got to meet and chat with others staying there and that was fun. The house was clean and we'll kept. The location was great. The whole island was amazing!

Our host greeted us and shared info about island opportunities and local restaurants. The beds were comfy and the common areas, with coffee and tea, were immaculate.

Our room at guesthouse Arni was very comfortable and clean. Our host was an excellent communicator and instructions and expectations were very clear. Location is great for exploring the island. We had a bit of a wait for the one bathroom with a shower because all the rooms were full while we were there, but there was a second bathroom with a toilet. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

It smelled odd... other than that the property was pretty nice

Owner was very helpful keeping us informed about ferry service changes due to weather. Our 2-bedroom plus kitchen was fantastic for 2-parents and college age kids. Comfortable property to stay at while seeing the island.

Clean guesthouse - there are not a lot of accommodations available here so we were happy to have a place but just really know what a guest is before you book. There was 1 shower for the whole place (we counted at least 14 guests) and one extra toilet upstairs. So maybe this is the day you don’t shower : ) manage your expectations and you will be happier. Beds were comfortable and host was nice. I never got an email with instructions from hotels.com so I had to call and get the instructions and room number the day we arrived. If you want to see the puffins you might need to stay overnight to give yourself a couple of chances to go to the cliffs and just hang for a while. You have to be patient. Also with the money you save staying here make sure to splurge on dinner at Slippurinn - best meal we had in Iceland!

Nothing fancy, pictures are accurate. Very nice and helpful host. Got the job done, would stay there again.
