Quiet overnight stay in shabby chic house converted to Inn. Comfortable bed & linens. Small TV in corner of room by ceiling. Large tub, but jets did not work. Coffee & fresh croissants for breakfast. Innkeepers kindly stored my bag for the day while I walked around. Thankful & grateful.

Such a cute Inn. Our room was clean and had a separate sitting area. Be forewarned, there is a narrow staircase to the rooms. The location was nice, we walked to restaurants and shops.

Overall a very lovely place to stay. The only issue was that we were put on the top floor, so a lot of stairs. At times the street noise, of cars going by, was noticeable

I had a wonderful evening at the Gables. If you like a B&B style this a great place to stay. I felt like a guest at a friend’s beautiful home, but peacefully unbothered of course. The people who run it are courteous and lovely. Top marks, hope to return soon.

Absolutely loved this place. I typically go for a more modern spot yet the reviews and pictures were so compelling. Amazing location right in town. Quiet. So clean. Well kept. Everything you need from water jugs to big towels to wine glasses. Super comfortable bed and cozy sheets. Can’t wait to come back!

The location is excellent and the gardens are divine. Our only problem was the winding staircase to our upper floor room. Would not be a problem for younger people but my husband and i are in our 70s! We would stay again if we could be assured of a lower level room.

Excellent communication with hosts and perfect location to the shops and restaurants downtown. Room was comfortable and clean.

Very cozy house and room with all needed amenities. Location is super convenient and walkable to all nearby shops/restaurants. Great value and welcoming property. Church gongs every hour were unexpected.. but otherwise a very pleasant stay.
