The location is very good, near Otsu shopping street, where there are many delicious restaurants, supermarkets and duty-free shops, near the subway station. The room is very small, but the design is airy, there is a common living area on the ground floor with a microwave, refrigerator, where you can sit and eat. There is free luggage storage on check-in and check-out days (luggage can be left near the reception desk, near the door, although it is not tagged and no one manages it, but it is very safe). The building has a small elevator. Each floor has 2 toilets. The entire building has 6 bathrooms, all located on the 2nd floor. The dormitory room is also on the 2nd floor. All areas are extremely clean. However, there is a small inconvenience: guests on the 3rd and 4th floors have to go down to the 2nd floor to shower, brush their teeth, and wash their faces. And the bathroom area would be more comfortable if it were separated for men and women.

The hotel staff is very friendly. The place is also aesthetic, fun to stay. The location is also very strategic.

The lady at the reception was one of those people who were just kind by nature, not because it was their job. She genuinely took care of the customers, showing the way, asking if they were okay, and giving cute tips. She was so friendly, smiled a lot and prolly the best part about the hostel. The hostel was okay, located near the main city park. it was women only and only 4 beds, so plenty of privacy. The downside was, my room mate (prolly the Caucasian) thought it was okay to turn off the heater when it was 0 degrees outside. Even when I tried to hide the remote, she still managed to unplug the heater. Wtf. I was lucky I didn’t freeze to death.

Comfortable, safe, strategic location. close to shops and halal restaurants. Check-in cannot be past 10 PM. the receptionist is friendly, good at english. suitable for solo traveler.
