From the moment we checked in, we requested a one-hour late check-out to pray, etc. On the day itself, there was a problem, as usual. At 12 noon, we wanted to enter the room and found out the key needed to be refreshed. We went to the receptionist, who said it had been refreshed, so we went up at 12:15. It turned out the key wasn't working, so we went down again and had the key refreshed again. So we went up at almost 12:30, prayed, etc. At 1:00, there was a call in the room, pretending to ask if I wanted to extend my stay. At 1:15, there was a knock on the door. The female receptionist asked if we needed help carrying our luggage. We were already packed and ready to check out.
We knew it was a polite eviction, even though we hadn't requested a room boy to carry our luggage.
We were a bit stunned by their insistence on getting us out quickly. A hotel of the Hilton's caliber, especially since it was a Thursday, not a weekend.
