I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Addison Beach Resort in Cyprus, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel staff were friendly and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The food at the resort was another highlight. Each meal offered a wonderful selection of dishes, all beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. However, I did encounter a significant issue during my stay that I believe needs addressing. The hallway leading to the garden rooms, which are marketed as their VIP accommodations, was quite dirty. The flooring was stained and in desperate need of cleaning or even replacement. This was surprising given the otherwise high standards of the resort, especially for rooms that are considered premium. On a positive note, I requested a late checkout and, although my original room was booked for another guest, the hotel staff went above and beyond by providing us with a new room at no extra charge. This gesture really reinforced my impression of the staff's commitment to guest satisfaction. Despite the hallway's condition, I had a wonderful time at Addison Beach Resort and would

We booked the hotel on the basis of all inclusive. Upon arrival it was clear that this was something that was not used much and there was a lot of confusion over the all inclusive facilities. Given this I think it’s clear that no real effort is put into the buffet food which led to us having to eat out quite a lot which given how much we paid is not ideal. The bed was really uncomfortable and the rooms need upgrading. If the hotel is to continue offering all inclusive feature I would highly suggest some entertainment in the evening, even if it’s just some live music. The staff however were all friendly and tried their best to accommodate us however some serious training is required so that everyone understands the all inclusive package. The hotel is probably best used for business stays which would work fine

I really dont know what happened as ive stated in this hotel before. No concierge at 2 in the morning and was greeted by a food chewing receptionist. Not a very nice thing to be greeted with at that time. I travel a lot and know what im booking and certainly didn't book a single room that you could t swing a cat in. The room wasnt fit for a supposedly 5 Star hotel. Very badly designed and too expensive for what you got. Also Aircon wasnt working.I demanded a more appropriate room which wasnt that much bigger but we managed. Maintenance does not exist in this hotel which is very disappointing. The lady in customer relqtions who was dealing with the complaint did what she could i suppose and did what she could within her power to try and accommodate us. I also found reception without naming names bordering on rude. The customer is always right and we dont need to be stated the obvious robotic terms. There was clearly a problem with the booking and didnt just want to hear someone pass the buck. Who's fault it is and so on. I was moved and charged another £210 to have a shelf in the bathroom to our toiletries.Pretty disgusting if you ask me. Its a shame as this hotel has so much potential. It just lacks that but of hospitipal class that a 5 star needs to keep its reputation. Heard a lot of bad things that went on in the summer. But chose to ignore it. Certainly justified unfortunately. One last shout for Zaharoulla!!!…. A wonderful bright a cheary waitess at breakfast!!

Although we booked a Superior Sea View, the room was large but pretty basic - not like some of the photo's we had seen. Eat in Filini restaurant the first night and the food was served cold so we sent it back. Decided to eat out for the remainder of our stay. No body seemed bothered about the above when we checked out and informed them

Nice property but for what you pay I would expect it to be cleaner, pool tiles are coming off and algae around the boarders, the floor in the rooms have black marks and there is moister in the wall of the bathroom overall not worth the money

The was probably the worst experience in a 4 star hotel I've ever had. Our rooms (we had 2) wasn't made up when we arrived, used cotton buds, toothbrushes, dirt and hair on the floor. When a cleaner did turn up at 9pm, she asked if we could make the beds ourselves? We asked 5 times at the front desk for someone to fix our phone over the course of 3 days to no avail. I asked for a bottle opener and the guy asked for 5 euros to bring it to the room. One bottle of water per room per day seems stingy given we were paying 500 EUR a night? The corridors are filthy, the facilities decrepit (the 'childrens play area' would more likely cause tetanus than a good time) and the vast majority of the staff couldn't care less when we asked them to address issues time and time again. Im not a fussy traveller, back packing in India is fine by me but what shocked me was the reality vs expectations. We asked for a quiet room and the put us next to a building site with heavy cutting going on all day so the children couldn't nap...and offered to move us only on the 4th day out of 3. The food was ok and the front desk very presentable, but other than that pretty much everything was way below expectations. You get the feeling the hotel is an asset being run into the ground for profit after someone bought it to get citizenship without wanting to invest anything beyond that. Thank god the cab arrived on time to take us to the airport...the most critical time in this hotel is when you leave it.

Really disappointed with our stay at the Radisson Beach, we booked a suite and when we entered our room, it was not clean, broken glass, toe nails on the floor, hair on floor and on bed sheets, empty tissue boxes, dust, holes in the bedding. Was absolutely shocking, it took them 4 attempts to try and rectify and get the room right and they still couldn’t manage it. The head of house keeping could not understand why we were not happy, hotel management said they were embarrassed but still didn’t try and rectify the issue. Broken tiles on the swimming pool. There was crushed muffing on the floor that was there for the 5 days we were there, no pride at all in the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel. Only positive was the breakfast and the staff, they would go over and beyond to help especially Dora they were all amazing. It’s a new hotel and it’s a shame they are not maintaining it. Would never recommend or stay there again.
