The apartment style hotel is quaint and offers a great taste of European culture. Each room is different. Close to all Prague main sightseeing events and so reasonably priced. I visit Prague frequently and Casa Italia is my favorite place to stay.

I only stayed one night. Overall a very good rate for this cute little apartment. The room is a mini apartment, very cute. The stairs are very steep up to the bed but the bed is comfortable and can easily sleep 2 or even 3. There is a mini bar with tons of choices and small hotplate. There is a TV but you won't be able to watch in from bed comfortably and there was AC (a rarity in Prague...they didn't even know they had it! When I asked for the AC controller the nice lady at the desk didn't seem to know the room had AC, just shows they really don't use it here) BUT the AC leaked all over so maybe it isn't vented properly. It wasn't that big a deal as I left it on so the room was cool I just couldn't leave it on continuously after that.

The room was nothing like on the photos. Was very dark even with curtain/blinds open. The kitchen was very very basic. no hot water to the sink in there and only a 2 plate electric hob. No toaster or grill. Even the kettle had to be plugged in at floor level as no worktop level electrical point. Overall very disappointing. Cant honestly recommend.

Room was large and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked, which made making dinners easy. Very friendly staff. Close to metro for easy transport into city centre.

I stayed here on two different occasions during my holiday and had two different rooms. Both were clean and had all self catering utensils I needed. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, you need to let them know in advance your arrival time as they are not 24hours but they will have someone present for your arrival. TV in each room but I didn't use it, internet connections were not great but this was not a problem for me as I spent little time in the room. If you are arriving at the airport you can take local bus 100 to metro station Zlicin and transfer to the metro and get off at station Krizikova - it takes just over an hour and the bus is every 30 minutes until about 11pm. The metro line is a 2 minute walk from the metro station. The apartment is about 30 minutes walk into Prague city, 20 minutes to Florenc bus station or you can take the metro a few stops. There are a couple of bigger supermarkets near the apartment and some late night local shops. Few restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk and reception staff will give you some suggestions and introduction cards which will get you a little discount. If you are looking for budget accommodation in Prague and don't mind staying out of the center then this place is ideal.

OK, we have toured for 4 weeks now in Italy, Austria, Czech Republic and France. We have paid between $30 to $70 AUS per night for 2-3Star rated accommodation. This Casa Italia Hotel was chosen in the same manner but disappointed us completely. The apartment was like an oven, their heating was not managed, the bath-basin leaked water over the floor and worst still, we endured 1 horrendous night with sewage smells wafting up into the bedroom area (which was accessed via a steep 'ladder' so our bags remained downstairs) The floors creaked & groaned with each step. In the morning, I discovered the bed sheets had numerous holes. Only god knows how the cleaner accessed the room to clean or change sheets! We did get a refund, but initially they refused. I had to threaten them with reporting them to the health inspector... now Expedia...is your online information verified or do you just accept what is said?

All the reviews I read about this appartment place was different, and I got to see three of the rooms during my stay. The first one had a faulty toilet and the boiler was switched off so no hot water. The heat was not on so there was 3 degrees at night. But the second room was really nice. Everything worked and it was very spaceous. This place is perfect for couples, there is loads of interesting things in walking distance and it was quiet.

We have received totally different room than was presented on the Residence Casa Italia web page for the type of the room we have been booking. The room was in fact kind of "shed" made from wood on a previous large balcony in backyard of the house. Bed was really not comfortable at all. Although I was confirmed by Hotels.com that I can pay my room by credit card this was not possible at the time of the arrival as the receptionist said, that their card machine does not work so I had to pay it cash. For the price we paid I am sure that I can find much more comfortable accommodation.

The one negative thing which appeared to be a vital part of the stay is that there is no Wi-Fi in our particular apartment ( opposite to what has been mentioned in hotel describtion) . Don't know about the other apartments.

Cleanliness of room-the room was very clean, every 3 days the room was cleaned and towels were changed. Quality of service-all staff were very helpful and friendly. the rooms were non smoking, but there was a beautiful yard for all appartments with sitting area and ashtrays. Hotel location was very comfortable-just near metro and tram station -1 min. walk:) 2 stops from old sity center . quiet neighborhood, not so many tourists walking around. the fill of real Prauge and not tourism center. many nice and very cheap restaurants and pubs around the aparthotel where the locals eating. supermarket just across the street.

We enjoyed staying here. On arrival we were given maps and leaflets on tours. We were shown to our room which was bigger than we had expected. The bed was a bit hard and there were cigarette burns in the sheets but we slept fine. Shower was nice and warm. Breakfast croissants were nice and the breakfast was delivered to your room at a time you can request. Metro is right around the corner and so it is easy to get to the city centre. Some nice bars and places to eat near the apartments.

The hotel had "technical problems" and sent us to another hotel which was very far from the city center, a bunker for big groups, served very bad breakfast and where the rooms where not very comfortable. This made us loose a lot of time and obliged us to walk the last day through the city with our luggage - since the hotel was too far to get back there before going to the airport.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Italia. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with a personal kitchenette and loft with bedroom. Wifi could be better and make sure to bring your own toiletries, but overall excellent stay. Neighborhood is amazing with restaurants, market, and metro close by (although most days we just walked to town). Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if in the area.

This is a very cute apartment/hotel. We had a loft with two comfy twin beds that were pushed together, a small kitchen, bathroom and sitting chairs with a TV. It is decorated with a Spanish flair and one of our favorite stays. Staff were very helpful and the mini bar was very inexpensive. Breakfast is small pastries and coffee. The only complaint we had is that the window opens up to an enclosed courtyard which is noisy with other travelers/residents at times during the day when you have the windows open. Overall great choice. The area is very close to a central metro station and we liked the cheap bakery near by. Also there was a music festival down the street. 10 percent discount with your booking at the Charleston restaurant.

I ordered the single room, but got the 4 persons apartment, with no option of change. The apartment is big but unpleasant - it is not clean enough, especially the shower that smells. Beds are small. The kitchen looks old and the dishes have some kind of fishy smell. Overall, not a very inviting room. And breakfast is almost nonexistent.

It had everything you needed in the apartment with a little kitchen and utensils so if you don't want to eat out every night, you don't have to. It is about a 15 minute walk to Old Town. The bed is a little uncomfortable, but not horrible. Much recommended.

The apartment was in a great location. Only about 10-15 walk to the center. Every morning they came and delivered our breakfast to us at the time we asked them to. It had an awesome loft where the bed was and a small kitchen in the apartment. Also very close to the station. The only thing that wasn't great was the bed. It wasn't the most comfortable, but not horrible.
