Lovely, grand hotel. Staff are very friendly, beds comfy, rooms a good size and nicely kept and breakfast had a good choice of options. Outside pool wasn't heated though, amd one was shut for maintenance. The gym was also too hot to work out in. My son loved thei sode pool though and sauna.

The hotel is dated and leaves a lot to be desired. The pool was the exception and lovely. The staff were friendly but few and far between. I had to seek out staff to call other staff to get a drink and food by the pool. Breakfast was seriously underwhelming. The room was fine, no complaints but nothing to rave about either. Wouldn’t go back for sure.

I surprised that in place like Solin exist hotel like President. The hotel unfortunatelly does not deserve the 5 star because there is room for improvement. The breakfast should be richer and more varied, as should the cleanliness of the hotel. It is unacceptable that the door frames are damaged and that the shutters can not be fully closed. The staff is extremelly kind, but keep in mind that this is the south of Croatia, and everything is slower than in the north.

This hotel is awesome! The beds are huge. The rooms are large and classy. The staircase is beautiful. The breakfast is super,too. (If you ask they will make dippy eggs for you. Quality and clean breakfast area. A lot to choose from. The heated pool could be a little warmer. The sauna absolutely needs to be hotter. The indoor and outdoor pools are very nice! The staff are excellent. I highly recommend this hotel! Truly, a nice place.

Great hotel was treated so well. Although a little way out from split a taxi was £12. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. We were lucky to experience a traditional Croatian wedding which we would not have seen in the centre of everything

Really nice stay with very friendly staff, only thing to complain about is the wifi at the hotel was pretty poor and the choice of restaurants not nearby was not great, would recommend going more towards the centre for better options.

Everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations.. A lovely welcome with a welcome drink. Very clean and well kept. Our rooms were perfect and spacious with a view of the park. Excellent maid service. Excellent facilities all around the hotel. All the staff were so lovely and pleasant and helpful. Great pool waiter service. Lovely breakfast each morning. I cannot praise this hotel enough and I would love to go back and stay there again.. A beautiful area to stay in and only ten minutes in a (recommended Uber for cost) to Split old town that is absolutely beautiful. I miss it all already… JULY 2024

Breakfast was very good with great variety to choose from, good coffee, real scrambled eggs, variety of fruit and veggies s baked goods, cold cuts. Ahmed Tarek was very friendly and helpful every morning. Lunch and dinner food was very good as well. Many options for swimming pools, rooms is comfortable.

This was a stunning hotel with great facilities. They lack sun beds for the number of guests. Beautiful room and a lovely area in Solin. Good to get to Split airport for return flight. Luxury - welcome drink appreciated.

Overall the hotel was beautiful and very clean. Was disappointed at the check in experience because we were told our rooms were not ready even after check in time. We had to wait over an hour to finally have access to our room. Location is a 15 min drive to the city. Great amenities.

The hotel is old. Initially charming but things need TLC. The Ac wasn’t working in one of our rooms. We informed the management and they insisted that it was working. They didn’t help at all and they were tule and evasive. The shower is terrible and ours was broken as well. The girl at the front desk ( Claudia) was the best. Super expensive and not worth it.

Great place for family, not so much for business trips especially if your meetings are in Split. The rooms are old, but big and doable for the price. Very poor light in the room. The curtain to the outside was broken, so the sun in my face was my alarm.

I really wanted to love this property and give it 5 stars looking at the photos and reviews. However, my experience was strictly 3 (or maximum 4) stars. Pros: helpful and friendly staff at reception, outstanding breakfast options, extremely clean surroundings, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor pool (none of them crowded), Lidl 2 mins walk away. Cons: unfortunately, I got the 'unlucky' room (top floor, corner) where WiFi was non-existent. This meant, I had to come down to the reception area to use my laptop, Google stuff, plan my days, send photos to family and even complete the pre-departure forms before flying out. I was told no one else in the hotel reported this issue, so perhaps it was just my bad luck. Upon using the room telephone to contact reception, I discovered that the connection was so poor, I could barely hear them. Upon contacting room service one day, it rang for about 25 mins before I gave up and went downstairs to place an order. I thought the restaurant would be extremely busy, hence the staff were probably occupied. However, there was not one single customer present. For such a fancy hotel, I was surprised to discover the toilet seat just placed on and very wobbly. There didn't seem to be an air vent, so it got very stuffy in there after showers. The air conditioner was more like a slow fan, even though it was strong and cold around the other hotel areas. It was fine with me, but might not be for others in the 37C heat. No watchable channels on the TV either.

The stuff , very very helpful, friendly, place is very clean, the best pools, stuff always around helping , great food, breakfast , have many choices of food, I will definitely go back again & advise anyone to try the president hotel,

No free water, coffee,tea, not even a kettle!! No irons or ironing board because they want you to use their costly laundry service. Loads of lighting issues (which never got resolved). Room was ALWAYS very dusty. All this from a 5 star hotel !!!...will not recomnend!!

The whole stay was catastrophic due to the hotel couldn’t accommodate us with the appropriate bedding in the room - booked a queen bed & a single bed however hot twin beds upon checkin & the manager Mirta was the rudest woman on earth mo managing skills at all to deal with customer complaints - the hotel rooms where to start from the lights to the bathroom nothing works not even the in room phone the shower head was broken never got replaced the towel hanging out off the hook great risk of health & safety no one can fix it. The bath tub full of black dirt absolutely disgusting for families with kids like us. You would think you’d get away for a perfect family break turn out to be a disaster never ever recommending that hotel again. I was robbed for paying big bucks for an awful service. The only good thing about the stay was the restaurant waiters Mohammed who tried to make our stay the best he could do that’s a great asset to the team all the other staff was disgusting

Beautiful hotel with several great pools that kids loved! Great service and breakfast was amazing!
