Place is run down - the air conditioning unit in the room is louder than a parked helicopter- so had to turn it off.

I booked a standard room for a week and they gave me triple bed room to start with which had poor lights and broken furniture. I insisted to change the room and next they gave me a twin room which was very very old, had only lamps, no minibar and a broken fridge. The bamboo made roof was old and dusty, spider webs on windows, a/c making cracking noise. I didn’t sleep well throughout my stay and didn’t enjoy at all. The staffs were not very welcoming and supportive. Poor breakfast - tried first day and never went for one. I have never given a bad review to anyone but i could not bear this time. I stayed in Movenpick and Swissotel the other time and was superb in comparison. The management should really work on the issue or consider refurb - my thoughts on the hotel was that it was good during its prime and had failed to maintain its standard.

Convenient location close to shops and walkable to old town. Staff were helpful providing info on things to do.

This stay was part of a multi country itinerary. While the actual stay was good, my post-stay interaction was a trial. Items left in the safe were held and subject of multiple attempts at calls and emails to little avail. Only through a tour driver was i able to recover my currency wallet. The hotel seemed to block me most of the time.

Great historical hotel with a unique design. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. The only drawback is that there's no iron on the room, you can only order ironing service.

Very easy check in and check out, very nice people working in, but I can’t believe in how bad condition this hotel is. These can be easily five star hotel if the owner renovate but it’s in very poor condition and doesn’t deserve even more than two stars. So sad. I feel sad for these people working in hotel too because I know they deserve better!

Historic hotel built for 1984 Winter Olympics. Hotel also played a role during the war, 1992-1995.

Friendly stuff at the reception!!

I felt my stay was substandard for what I would expect. Pool was out of order, WIFi was punishing weak to the point where I couldn’t use it in my room unless I was against the door and the key card system was very frustrating to use with the swipe magnetic strip, to the point I had to reassign my key card twice in a day. The room itself was nice enough and as expected and the staff on reception good too. Just some very frustrating things.

Last time we were there everything was perfect. This time our ercondition, bar fridge and tv didnt work. After two calls they were able to fix ercondition only.I anderstud that they are in fool capacity an cant give us new room. Its a beautiful place but they have to take little more care about there gests.

I traveled to Sarajevo with my friend and stayed in hotel holiday for few days, but we been disappointed ! I was waiting 20 minutes for check in as just one receptionist was working. No one came to clean our room and changing towel,I called and asked for room service , they sent clean towel but no one was available to do cleaning. Breakfast was ok, but tables were dirty and didn’t change the table clothes. Very disgusting! I don’t understand how this hotel has 4 stars! I don’t suggest this hotel at all.

The room was nice and updated. The bathroom had plenty of room and the A/C work great. Breakfast was good and had lots of options. I wish housekeeping was a little better. I asked for more coffee for my room but never got it. They did t come to room to replace towels but I called the front desk and they had them brought. Plus, it was after 10 pm and I really appreciated it. I would recommend this hotel. The location is fabulous. There is a parking lot and easy to get picked up when I had friends come get me.

We are frequent visitors of Sarajevo and last couple of years regular travellers that stay in hotel Holiday. Very satisfied.

A great location for visiting Sarajevo. Very close to the train/bus station and near tram into the city. The most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in!

AC was too noisy to use, lights didn’t work, safe didn’t work - room was serviced late every day, not cleaned properly

Rooms were spacious and comfortable, location was very good with free parking. Pool was great fun, staff were friendly, the only minus was breakfast, it was limited and not very tasty. Overall was a good hotel, I would recommend but not the breakfast

I have been wanting to stay at this hotel for many years and finally did. It was beautiful and the staff was great. I would come back in a heartbeat again.

Really nice, clean hotel in Sarajevo. The location was within walking distance to several restaurants, Public transport, and sights. The AC was nice and cool, the room was clean, and the customer service was excellent. We felt welcomed from the moment we checked in. Would definitely stay here again.
