All the reception, cleaning and breakfast staff were exceptional. The only thing that spoilt the stay was the area which was beyond the control of the hotel. There was a noisy club next door and on one night there football celebrations with fireworks that would equal Disneyland set off in the street and car horns that lasted 3 hours. But was beyond the control of the hotel

Great location. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was good, and offered speciality coffee. Small room, but it was clean and I was just there to sleep. Bed mattress is very, very firm. I would stay here again.

I thought that the spa offering was both unique and a nice vip offering. I said no to the offering prior as I did not get an up graded room. I did request a different room because of the steps and we had told them before that we could not lug the luggage up more steps. They did move us to an end room but it was not any different than the one we had aside from the no steps needed to enter the room from the hall.

We enjoyed our stay at Albergo Celide. The staff was friendly and a great help in setting us up with bikes that we were able to use for the full day to ride around the city. We were grateful to be able to check in at the last minute after having to leave a awful hotel that we were originally booked in by Travelodeals.

A great place for a couple of nights, clean room and nice breakfast with a good cold buffet including gluten-free items. We didn’t have an opportunity to try the spa (closed on Sundays) or roof terrace but had a large room that was very comfortable.

Albergo Celide is a lovely place to spend your Lucca vacation. It's comfortable and quite with wonderful breakfast and nice spa. It's moments away by foot from the entrance to the walled city. Anna was delightful and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She even booked two dinner reservations for us.

It was close to train which was nice but nothing around it. 15 minutes from center on other side of wall

Great location with free parking. Breakfast was good. Staff very kind and accomodating. Our room on the upper loft floor was a bit claustrophobic though.

A great location, this place is great to be near the action, but not right on top of it! About a ten minute walk to the walls of Lucca, this is the perfect place to stay! Staff was extremely helpful with information about Lucca and the surrounding area and even helping us set up drivers (car or van) for our next stay (this was done pre-arrival I would recommend it)! There was a spa onsite, but as my family and I (3 total (English speaking only but that was not a problem)) only stayed one night, we were unable to experience it due to the sort of funky hours and us wanting to explore the city. The room was perfect for 3 almost suite like with separate bedrooms. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to go to Lucca, but doesn't want the over-inflated prices or hassle of staying in the city walls!

Great hotel & location.

Great hotel, very well located to visit Lucca, just outside the walls. Easy to walk in the center of the town. Staff is very helpful. We enjoyed the free parking, the relaxing terrace and the free bikes. Will stay there again.
