The hotel is nice. When we arrived the heating did not work and also no hit water. It was very anoying since we came late and they tried to solve the issue but still we could not shower until morning so my sleep was very bad. In the morning the hot water was fixed and we could shower. The breakfast was very good and relaxed. I would come again to the hotel but very the heating and hot water is working!

This is a very nice inn. It reminded me of the gasthauses we sometimes stayed at when I was growing up in Germany. If you're looking for a major brand name 5 star full service, this isn't it, but it's not supposed to be. This was perfect for my business trip, wonderful staff, great breakfast, excellent room (I had a junior suite). There was no iron/ironing board in the room, but I imagine that's common with most small inns and I'd bet they have one at the desk if I'd have needed it. The breakfast was nice, breads/pastries, cheeses, meats and the hostess made eggs and bacon to go with it. I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel location was a little remote, but worth the effort to get there. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room and a nice restaurant. Would definitely stay there again.

Coffee in the room would have been nice. Clean, comfortable room. Really good restaurant food, including an excellent breakfast. Good value.

Pleasant hotel room with a good restaurant for dinner, however, breakfast was very disappointing with poor service (staff sat outside drinking tea or coffee and chatting whilst guests waited for service inside) and a limited selection of cereals and virtually no fresh fruit.

The bar and restaurant close at 2pm on Fridays - yes, that's the afternoon. if you're there on a Friday night you're totally stuck, nothing else open in walking distance. One of my associates was dropped off, he had not food until breakfast on Saturday surviving on one small wine bottle in the minibar. Also, when the bar is open it closes at 11pm. Totally unsuitable for business meetings or socializing.

Room was well appointed and quiet. Everything worked as expected in the room. Breakfast offered a good choice with scrambled egg made to order. Evening meal in the restaurant was very good - but a bit expensive, the menu offered a fair choice of dishes

Good, clean hotel. Rooms rather small. Bathrooms good size. No lobby or sitting area other then restaurant. We ate at restaurant for dinner. It was very good. Prices were ok. Breakfast was excellent. They will cook you eggs and bacon to order.

Excellent food.

Staff were friendly. Room size was good and the hotel was in good condition. However, there was an old smell in the room - possibly the carpet needed washing. Lighting was insufficient, so room was a bit dull. Also there was a lot of noise from the neighboring house. Restaurant food was good.

We stay to be near family on nearby Houthalen. This is our second week long stay and we are as impressed as we were the first time. The staff are all lovely, the buffet breakfast excellent and we enjoyed several dinners. There is wonderful cycling and running right outside the door. We will be back.

Excellent overnight stay and superb cuisine!

Very clean hotel, friendly staff.

We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is very clean and decorated nicely. The bathroom was fresh and new, the shower had plenty of hot water and the water flow was good. The only thing that I can suggest is that they replace the towels, our set of towels were clean, but the edges were fraying and coming apart at the hem, and we were only given one set for a reservation for 2 people. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area. The staff was also very kind and accommodating.

I use this hotel because it is conveniently located for my particular business travel needs. The rooms, service, and most especially the restaurant and food, are great. There isn't much to see or do in the area, but if you are there anyway, this is a great hotel to stay at.
