The rooms are in bad condition. Our room was practically unusable. There was no space around the sink to put anything, no towel hook, and the power sockets were falling out of the wall — I had to prop them up with a chair just to charge my phone. However really loved the location here. If you travel by train, its amazing to live a few steps from the train station. The service was also very nice.

The idea of converting a former monastery into a hotel is excellent and the setting is undeniably unique. However, the execution falls short. The ceiling leaks due to poor maintenance, which seriously impacts comfort and safety. No matter how interesting the concept, basic upkeep is non-negotiable. With this level of neglect, the hotel does not live up to its potential.

Structure and common spaces are beautiful, breakfast excellent, compared to them the rooms are quite simple, and small; location excellent in the old city, and at the side of a trin station.

On our trip to Cusco, my wife and I stayed at the Hotel Monasterio San Pedro. The hotel is attached to the San Pedro Monastery as the name suggests. The common areas of the hotel, including the gardens, are decorated according to local custom. Additionally, the location of the hotel was great, just a short walk from the main square of Cusco. We really enjoyed the garden with alpaca statues. Our room was very spacious. The bed was also very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious. We found the room to be a bit too cold at times and the small heating appliance was insufficient to cope with that. The hotel offered a nice breakfast every morning, with a variety of juices, yogurt, fruit, and cold cuts.
