Great property. I truly enjoyed my stay here. The staff was amazing, very attentive and friendly. Good variety of food and drinks. Rooms and property were very clean and beautiful.

The cleaning staff for our room was amazing! They was in our room twice a day, once in the morning and turn down service at night. I highly recommend getting Concierge service, ours took care of all of our reservations for dinner, booked all our excursions, took care of our transportation back to the airport. We never had to worry about anything! If we needed anything at all, all we had to do is text him and it was taken care of! Highly recommend staying at this hotel. The only thing that we had an issue with was the shower water was cold, we was there in October, which is during their raining season, so a hot shower would have been nice. I’m sure during the summer, and chilly shower is wonderful, but not in rainy weather. Other than that no complaints. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Hotel is very clean!

I enjoyed my time at Planet Hollywood and would definitely return! There was not a lot of options outside of the resort unless you booked an excursion through the hotel but if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing resort this is the place and family friendly. I enjoyed the staff and the accommodations.

Stay here only if you like having your money stollen. We booked two tours through Nexus at the resort, the “friendly” nexus worker convinced us to cancel our volcano tour and book a more expensive tour to Nicaragua. This was a TERRIBLE mistake. The day trip was 10 hours in a van with the most rude tour guides who didn’t say a word to us. You then got to see a few sights that you were rushed through. None of this was disclosed upon booking. We were then promised by the agent we would be refunded for our volcano tour prior to leaving the resort. It is now over a MONTH later and we still do not have our refund of almost $500. After contacting nexus and the resort numerous times no one can give us a resolution. So thanks planet Hollywood for facilitating theft and terrible service. On the plus side the resort was very pretty and clean, but this issue wrecked our enjoyment of the property.

It’s the best all inclusive hotel in Costa Rica for sure. The staff was excellent, food was really good and the option for drinks were good quality. I’m going back for sure

I had an amazing stay at Planet Hollywood Royalton Resort! I received a free upgrade to an ocean view room for my birthday, which made the trip extra special. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were very friendly and informative, sharing all the details about the resort and its amenities. The room was spotless, modern, and beautifully updated. There was daily entertainment at the pool and fun activities every night, which made the stay lively and enjoyable. The only downside was the alcohol at the pool, which wasn’t as good as the drinks served in the lobby and restaurants — those were excellent! The food was delicious and freshly prepared each day, with plenty of great options. Overall, I highly recommend this resort and would definitely visit again!

Shuttle service needs to be more consistent. Service at the Japanese restaurant needs to improve.

Glad we got the VIP Star package bc we had better liquor options and a private pool area with bar and snacks.

My experience at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica was very disappointing. On my first night, my room wasn’t properly prepared—neither the AC nor the fan were working. Maintenance had to come fix it, which caused me to miss dinner with my family. Later in the stay, a fight broke out in the club. I tried calling security, but no one answered. I eventually had to call the hotel directly because no one was picking up the phone. Overall, I did not have a great experience. I spoke to management and was told the issues would be addressed, but the lack of follow-through left me even more dissatisfied.

Hotel was beautiful, clean and food was great. Staff was not wonderful and VIP (star class) was a waste of money. Butler only helped with reservations for dinner other than that didn’t see or hear from him.

The property was clean but the food was horrible

This resort was nice! VIP treatment as soon as you walk in. Even more vip treatment if you book through Expedia! Very clean, very modern and updated. Beds are very comfortable. Shower is its own room with a bench! The buffet area had tons to choose from and the restaurants were great too, but you have to book early. The only down side was waiting for a shuttle to get to the pool and lobby, and if you order room service make sure your food is fully cooked! I would definitely stay again!

This is an absolutely beautiful place with breathtaking views all over. The staff es very attentive and polite, they go above and beyond to make feel welcome and comfortable. The food and drinks are good. The room is amazing, super big and comfortable. We reserved a private room at the SunSet restaurant for my birthday and it was awesome! Delicious food and the staff it’s just great. This is by far one of the best stays we’ve had. A great experience and we will definitely come back. Thank you Planet Hollywood for making our time so special.
