I got a free upgrade and the staff gave me a room with a harbor view (or whatever best view they could offer). The staff were cooperative all throughout my stay. Sauna was good. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The hotel staff has done a good job. However, there is no shuttle service from the Pacific Hotel to the three international ports in Batam (Harbour Bay, Batam Center, and Sekupang), Telaga Punggur Port, and Hang Nadim Airport. The hotel's price is quite high, but it should be worth providing a shuttle to the airport and harbor (tourists will come and stay in Batam). Hotel management should consider this.
