The bathroom is uncomfortable because the water pools on the floor.

(+) Cleanliness is okay. (+) Strategic location for those who want to explore the beach and city center. (+) Great breakfast menu, with a variety of local and international dishes. The food and bread/pastry options are just right. Nasi uduk (rice porridge), fried rice, green bean porridge, waffles, salad, etc. (+) Got a chocolate gift for my child from Aston for breakfast. (+) Pretty good, no interruptions. The signal is sometimes spotty. (+) Ample parking. (+) There's a clean swimming pool with a view of the Makassar sea, a spa, and a gym on the 15th floor. (-) I'd like to add to the service at the cafeteria table. Used plates should be removed immediately after customers have finished eating. (-) And my first negative experience in my several hotel stays: I was fined for durian, and in the end, I still got the penalty, and the price was higher than the room rate. How does it feel? 🤣 Room rates are around 700, with a penalty of 1 million rupiah, up from the previous 2 million rupiah. A suggestion is to put the "no smoking" and durian prohibition notices in bold in red at the beginning of the notice so customers can pay attention to the area and reiterate the details. The only thing they remember is the "no smoking" part; the rest is just about resting, and those who don't know about it become problems later. And it's best to be more flexible with customers. In conclusion, for those looking for a good price and facilities but lacking flexibility, consider this hotel. However, if you want flexibility, try some hotels around the beach with similar facilities.

I don't really like the car parking area. I wanted to have breakfast but was told to wait because the restaurant was full. I won't be coming back here again.

It's a normal stop for me in Makassar. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is ok.

good location in the city center, but unfortunately the room is not clean, especially the slippery bathroom, moldy ceramic walls that have not been cleaned.... drinking water is not available in the room so you have to go outside to get it even though it is a 4 star hotel but the service in the room is lacking

Good place, clean and comfortable hotel.

I arrived at 12 noon and was allowed to enter the room before the normal check-in time.

I don't know why, but since the time I lived in Makassar, Aston has been my favorite hotel.

Of all the hotels I've been to, Aston top 1 has the best service. The food is varied, I really like Sanggara Balanda and Candil. The swimming pool has a view of the 99 dome mosque. I really like it, my son didn't want to go home because he was so happy.
