Rating: 5/5. I just completed a stay at Horison Ultima Samarinda and was overall very satisfied with the service and facilities. This hotel is a great choice for both business trips and short vacations in Samarinda. 1. Room and Cleanliness My room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The modern interior design created a comfortable feeling from the moment I entered. The bed was soft, the air conditioning worked optimally, and the bathroom was clean with consistent hot water. Housekeeping arrived on time and paid attention to detail in cleaning the room. 2. Staff Service The front office and concierge teams were very professional, friendly, and responsive. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. Every request I had was handled promptly and politely, reflecting the high standards of service at a star-rated hotel. 3. Facilities The pool and gym area are well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a long day of activities. The pool is spacious and includes a children's pool, and the view from the pool is also stunning, as it is located on the top floor. 4. Strategic Location The hotel is located in the center of Samarinda, close to shopping centers, hospitals, and offices. Access to APT Pranoto Airport is also relatively easy, making it convenient for guests with busy schedules. Overall, Horison Ultima Samarinda offers good value for money. Second time staying here, everything is ok, only the soundproofing problem in the room is that you can still hear other guests' voices and there are also noisy sounds of furniture being moved around.

The hotel staff is friendly, check in and check out are fast. For the same price, you can get a room that is more spacious than similar hotels. The restaurant is ready at 6, the food is delicious, my favorite is cassava compote. However, there is less variety for heavy meals. Overall, it could be an option if you are staying in Samarinda.

Overall, it was okay, but this time the breakfast was a bit disappointing. The snapper wasn't fresh, and the smell was unpleasant when eaten, and the fried rice noodles tasted like plastic. Maybe you should review the quality control in the future, sis. Thank you.

Stayed there overnight. When I checked in with my young child at the check-in desk, the receptionist gave me a smoking room! When I checked in, the receptionist didn't confirm the room type; they usually ask if it's another hotel. I also forgot to ask for non-smoking, but the staff should have asked. The room was on the 3rd floor. It was safe during the day, no cigarette odor. I only realized at night when I saw an ashtray and the increasingly strong smell of cigarettes in the room and around the hallway. I was too lazy to move and complain. So please retrain the staff. How can guests with small children be given a smoking room!!! When I got home, my clothes all smelled of cigarettes. The room wasn't soundproof either. Other facilities, such as food, gym, and swimming, were okay. Unfortunately, there was no awareness from the staff that guests with small children should have a non-smoking room.

The hotel staff was friendly and responsive to any questions or requests. Unfortunately, I booked two rooms with city views, but one room faced a wall. The restaurant was also a bit slow in refilling both food and cutlery; you had to ask for it. Overall, the service was satisfactory. Highly recommended.
