1. The hotel is an old building, hopefully there will be renovations in the future. 2. There were two power outages while I was there, and at night I often heard noises on the roof. 3. The ambiance is dark, classic, not modern, more Javanese and lacking any Padang characteristics. 4. The rooms still use manual locks, not digital ones. The lights tend to be yellowish and not bright, the AC is not cold, the hot water can't be adjusted but tends to be very hot, and the Wi-Fi is unstable. 5. On the plus side, the hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The staff greatly influences the experience of your stay.

My first time staying here. The room was clean, and I had a terrace overlooking the garden (if I had a garden view). The hotel ambiance is classic, with a nostalgic feel. Many people took graduation photos during their stay, as the hotel provides that facility.
