The staff was super helpful. Initially, we got a room with a non-cooling AC and white lighting, while my friend's room next door had a warm one. After reporting the issue, we were given a replacement room that was much more perfect. The AC was super cold, cleaner, and the lighting was warm. Thank you, Ibis Budget :)

For the same price, there are other hotel options that are much better.

Check-in time was flexible, as I checked in at 12 midnight. The room was fine, except the window blinds were a bit damaged. The upper floors offer great views of Sematang city.

The hotel hallway smelled musty, and there were rumors from the hotel's Grab driver that the hotel was quiet due to an incident. Sleep was a bit restless due to disturbing noises.

The hotel location is very strategic and close to most tourist attractions in Semarang. However, the hotel still has many areas that need improvement: Bathroom – It needs to be cleaner. I was given a room with a nearly broken toilet, although it was still usable. Air conditioning – The air conditioner needs to be repaired or replaced, as it was not cold at all. Food – There was no egg station, and the kitchen staff informed us that the hotel uses catering and does not have its own kitchen. This made me concerned about the freshness of the food. So far, the hotel’s location is the main factor that makes this hotel appealing. Aside from that, the hotel needs significant improvements. You can definitely provide better service.

For business trips that want to stay 1/2 night, you can stay here.

I chose a hotel on a whim for a surprise event, but the important thing was that it was close to the city center and I could just get some rest the next morning. I didn't expect the room to be so comfortable for its affordable price. The bathroom, uniquely, had a separate shower and toilet, and the shower was open only through a glass partition near the bed. 😄
