The staff was a bit stiff and seemed afraid guests wouldn't be able to pay. There were ants in the room. The room looked neglected (there were water stains on the ceiling, as if from a leak, and much of the wood looked rotten). Cleaning service knocked on the room in the morning to ask if it needed cleaning (was it necessary?). The room wasn't soundproof.
