The deluxe room was quite spacious, with an airport view as requested. Kudos to the front desk team for their smooth check-in and check-out process, ensuring no queues even though the hotel was quite busy. Soft cookies were provided as a welcome snack. Drinking water was refillable. The breakfast menu was adequate and tasty. Children over 5 years old had to pay.
However, there were many things that still needed improvement as a hotel with a fun and child-friendly brand:
1. Room cleanliness upon arrival. The shower drain still had hair from the previous guest. The mug had lipstick residue and was still dirty, so be sure to wash it before use. The mirror still had residue from the welcoming greeting "happy married blah blah blah." I don't know if they hadn't been wiped down or what. I'm too lazy to complain, but they weren't cleaned. The carpet was very dull and the furniture was a bit dated.
2. The water went out several times, haha. They told me the pump was being repaired.
3. The swimming pool was poorly maintained. Only one towel was available for each room. There was no requirement to wear swimwear, so the water tended to get dirty quickly. It's unclear whether it's due to the large number of guests or whether the water isn't cleaned frequently.
4. The outdoor playground and mini zoo are poorly maintained and left in disrepair. They're dirty, the animals are neglected, and the fish pond water is murky. It's a shame, as it could enhance the hotel's reputation in other cities for being child-friendly and fun.
Come on, please improve this. It's a shame that the hotel's long-standing branding as a child-friendly hotel is so poorly managed.
