Overall is good, the location is quite strategic and it's take around 10-15 min to the center of Ubud. The room was clean and the staff is helpful.

It could be better, the refrigerator was electrocuted, the bathroom hot water didn't work on day 1.

Such a wonderful stay with family, the pool access is satisfying. Kids always request to go swimming, and it was awesome! Clean area and also friendly staff, will be back here again in the future.

The room is big, there is a kitchen, suitable for a family, but it is not very soundproof, the sound of people from the next room is loud, there are lots of loose feathers on the bale, it is not replaced with new ones, the kitchen is splashed by rain and the drainage is a bit clogged, the food is delicious and the price is quite cheap

Great experience in Kakul, very responsive and informative staff. Worth the price facilities and room. The surrounding around is nice for morning walk, serene. Near gym and cafe which only 5 mins walks.

Good, okay for families. Affordable price. Friendly staff. It's just that when I wanted to order breakfast, there was a pork menu. After the inn confirmed that there was no contamination, choose the recommended menu that they thought was safe (breakfast is not a buffet type, but choose a menu like in a restaurant and can be ordered the night before + request the time it is served). An electric stove, pan/wok, spoon, fork, knife, cutting board, bowl, glass, water heater are provided. If you want to cook for yourself for maxi and makmal, this is okay. Wifi is okay, swimming pool is okay. When I arrived, the bathroom was not very clean, there was still hair from the previous person who stayed. But after asking to be cleaned the next day, it was immediately clean. 1 room is a maximum of 2 people. If more, 8 years and under are charged extra breakfast 85 thousand, 8 years and above are charged extra bed 250 thousand (if the extra bed runs out, extra person + extra breakfast 160 thousand) (net price as of May 31, 2025, paid at check in). For Muslims, just ask which way is west, because there is no Qibla sign in my room. Muslim restaurants are also very limited in the area around the inn (it is better to ask before buying).

The hotel is old but quite well maintained, unfortunately the sink faucet was leaking, and I got a room on the 2nd floor even though I had chosen a terminal room rate. The friendliness of the staff and the variety of food made up for it.

During my stay at Kakul villa and suite was a very pleasant experience, fast service, clean room, spacious bathroom, sofa, and direct access to the swimming pool, the room is also equipped with a mini kitchen complete with appliances, highly recommended, next holiday we will stay here again. They really welcomed us for early check-in, the room so comfortable. Nice experience opening the door and jumping to the pool. All the staff so friendly.

Very comfortable hotel, spacious room, for WFH fast wifi and dedicated router. I happened to choose a suite with a kitchenette, but decided not to cook and just ordered from the restaurant. The food is delicious and the portions are jumbo, I ordered a room with breakfast delivered to the room and all the breakfasts were delicious… very worth it for the price of 500 thousand per night… thank you Kakul I’ll be back again someday.

Need to update the barcode available in the room, do not contact the manager's WhatsApp, but only the receptionist's WhatsApp, so the response is faster. The others are okay.

I really like staying here, I even came back after visiting Lombok. Maybe it needs to be added guest information access to the front office if there is a problem in the room, because the barcode in the room is connected to the WhatsApp group manager of the villa, so the response is slow and unsatisfactory. But in terms of facilities, it's okay.
