I stayed for 3 nights. The first night was a bit awful because the guest next door was making very disturbing noise, which I am sure came from their night activities, and it lasted until almost 12 midnight. I don't care what they were doing, but that simply shows that the wall quality was really bad. I don't mind the sounds of traffic, trains, or vehicles, but the noise from next door was extremely disturbing and annoying. However, the room was very clean and spacious. This was my first time staying in Whiz Point Simatupang and I have to say I am pretty disappointed. For the price range and the large sum of deposits they ask from the guest at the beginning of the stay, I expected to have better service than regular hotels. But nope. 1. The hot water was not really coming out. I only got warm water at best, even after I waited for like 20 minutes. 2. The liquid soap dispenser was empty and nothing came out so I had to make do with the soap bar. 3. The bathroom layout was kinda awkward so I had to squeeze and bend my body just to get out of the bathroom. 4. The entrance was a little bit higher than the rest of the room and there was no sign whatsoever warning the guest about this fact and I had to learn the hard way (literally) because I tripped and fell down really hard with my whole backpack and my whole entire arm had to suffer and can't fully move afterwards. I had to go to the doctor and got pain killer meds and if the symptoms does not go away in the next few days, I might need to go see an orthopedic to check whether I have fractures or not. To be fair they did offer to drive me to see medical professionals, but I had to go somewhere else before going to the clinic by myself because I cannot let my sprained elbow to ruin my whole day. I complained twice and the front office informed me that they were actually waiting for me to come to them again to follow up my complaints which is a weird response because I was the one being disadvantaged here and I have informed them already (And until I write this review, there is no formal apologies from the hotel, only verbal ones. It's like they don't really care about your well being). The reason I chose this hotel due to its location and its proximity to the event venue that I was going to but I don't think I would stay here again. Ever. It was pretty traumatic. I don't think I would stay in a place that don't really care about the well being of their guests.
