The hotel staff is very friendly. The service is excellent.

One of the hotels that could be an option if you're vacationing in Yogyakarta. The hotel's location isn't particularly close to Malioboro, but it's worth checking out, with access taking about 20-30 minutes. The location is also convenient, on a main road with easy access. The room is very clean, brightly lit, and minimalist with an efficient design. The room is quite spacious, with SUPER COLD AC, even in the hallway. VERY COMFORTABLE. The bathroom is clean, with a smooth and stable hot shower. The rooftop area is open 24/7 with views of the sunset, sunrise, and Mount Merapi. The staff is super friendly. There's also ample outdoor parking, with enough space for about 15-20 cars in the basement area. Access to the basement is via stairs down from the lobby; there's no elevator, but that's perfectly fine. Breakfast for three nights here was very interesting, with a varied menu, and the staff were friendly and catered to your needs, from omelets to pasta, etc. There's also cotton candy for kids, who'll love it. In the lobby area and on the second floor, there are simple toys like minisoccer, ping pong, and mini billiards. It's great for kids. For sunrise, if the weather is good, we recommend going to the rooftop at 5:30 a.m. for the best view. You can enjoy a beautiful view from here, including Merapi. The rooftop swimming pool is also available for children and is in good condition and clean.

The hotel staff was very helpful. I checked in while ill, and they helped me get up and down the stairs to my room in a wheelchair.

Thank you for promptly changing the bedding after our initial complaint that it was stiff. Thank you for all the hospitalities during our New Year's stay, and of course, the beautiful Mount Merapi view from our bedroom. An experience worth repeating once we visit Yogyakarta again!

Impressive, could be an option when on holiday in Yogyakarta

This is perhaps my 3rd stay. This time I was disappointed because as soon as I enter the room it smells like onions. I didn’t say anything, hoping it will fade with time. My friend tried to sleep but then she said the pillowcase smells like onions even when I didn’t mention the smell to her. Makes you wonder, huh? I told the receptionist about it. They send a room service to change the pillowcase & air refresher. Can you imagine staying in the room with that chemical smell? And the thought that perhaps the bed is dirty because only one pillow that smell. So i decided to go out for a while. I told the receptionist and he kindly changed my room. As soon as I enter the new room, I wanted to throw up because it’s like they emptied one bottle of air refresher in that room. I don’t know how they train their worker, but this is surely disappointing. I will never stay here again. Complaining thrice is enough.

A pleasant experience for our staycation.

The service was pleasant, friendly, and always smiling. The hotel was clean and fragrant. What was originally a one-night stay ended up being extended. Even though it's far from the city center, it wasn't a problem because the hotel was comfortable.

The swimming pool is nice. The rooms are quite clean. The front desk staff are very responsive and helpful. The food is quite varied. The staff at the egg corner need to focus more on listening to customers' orders to avoid repeated errors. Because the location is far from the crowds, it's perfect for a moment of silence from the hustle and bustle of Yogyakarta, which is invaded by people from all over the archipelago. There needs to be a connecting room because it's a bit difficult to bring children with separate rooms, even though the staff has tried to arrange them on the same floor.

The hotel staff is friendly, when we entered the room it was clean & fragrant.. especially the view of our room facing Mount Merapi.. for the swimming pool the water is warm even though the weather is cold, but you can still dive in to swim.. for the breakfast menu, it's varied & everything is delicious,,, basically the best stay at the Innside Hotel by Melia Yogyakarta,,, if you go to Yogyakarta, plan to stay here again 🙂

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff was really friendly and responsive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The only thing that took a while to order food and drinks at the pool was the wait time, which I hope can be improved.

Thank you Inside Hotel. It was a great experience to stay here all the way from Bandung. From the security and staff to the restaurant, everyone was friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. The rooftop view was stunning.

The best hotel that I have ever slept in Jogja. I book for New Year's Eve on Dec 31 2025 and surprisingly my room being upgraded into The Loft Room (Junior Suite) for free. The hotel services was excellence.
