I stayed at Whiz Prime on July 27-28. Sorry, but my experience wasn't pleasant. It's a 3-star hotel, but I felt the facilities were lacking.
This is my POV review.
Pros (+)
1. Very friendly staff, from the security guard, lobby staff, restaurant staff, and cleaning staff.
2. Check-in was possible at 2 PM without a long wait.
3. Nice building, clean and comfortable lobby.
4. There's a kids' zone for the kids.
5. Clean rooms.
6. Close to the bustling Kayutangan area, easy to walk everywhere.
7. Very strategic location.
Cons (-)
1. I initially got a room on the 8th floor. The AC wasn't cooling and made me short of breath. I called customer service to complain at 3 PM. The staff didn't arrive for a long time. They only checked briefly. Then they left and didn't return. I waited until 10 PM, but there was no follow-up, and the AC still wasn't cooling. Finally, I complained again and called customer service to ask for a solution: a room change. Finally, I was able to move to the 5th floor with the help of a hotel trolley to move my belongings. Thankfully, the air conditioning on the 5th floor worked well and wasn't stuffy.
2. For a 3-star hotel, the TV was blurry and there wasn't a smart TV.
3. The soap dish in the bathroom was broken and there was no soap in it. Luckily, I always bring my own soap wherever I go.
4. There was no hand shower. The rain showerhead was a bit difficult for ablution.
5. The sink had no hot water, only cold water.
6. The toilet didn't have a hairdryer.
7. The swimming pool was 120 cm deep, so it wasn't suitable for children (the pool is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
8. Breakfast wasn't varied enough in my opinion; there was no milk or cereal available.
9. I already told the receptionist I wanted laundry. They said "Okay, I'll pick you up at your room." I confirmed this twice, but from check-in to check-out, not a single laundry attendant came to my room. In the end, I didn't do laundry.
Hopefully, hotel management will pay more attention in the future. Continued success, Whiz Prime 🙏
