I chose to stay here because it was relatively affordable for those joining a sailing trip to Labuan Bajo the next day. I didn't have high expectations for this hotel from the start, as the price and facilities were commensurate with the price.
The only downside was that the room faced the street. For those who have trouble sleeping with noise, this was quite disturbing. At dawn, you'll hear the sounds of passing ships and vehicles.
Towels and other toiletries weren't provided. The blanket provided was thin and very small. There was an unpleasant odor around the bed. There were also lots of ants, so I recommend keeping your suitcases above ground, not on the floor. The TV remote didn't work either.
However, the air conditioning in the room was cool, so I didn't worry about the heat. There was also a balcony in front of the room. The curtains on the windows were small, so you have to be smart about closing them as they were visible from outside. There was also Wi-Fi, but it wasn't very fast, but it was okay.
Overall, it's recommended for a place to rest, sleep, and shower! The rest of the time, you'll be out exploring LBJ.
