The room was clean, and is among the most affordable around the airport. But I wish they had made it clearer what the rooms look like. I reserved a 'studio' but it was nothing like studio; it was more like dormitory or capsules. They should have made it clear in all platforms. Also, the toilets smell piss; it wouldn't hurt to have them cleaned twice a day. But that's all fine for an overnight layover. My major disappointment is with the airport shuttle service: it's a daylight robbery. The website as well as the reception told us that it costs Rp 50,000 per trip. We booked one for 4.30 am the next day (there were 3 of us). When we were ready to board, the driver suggested us not to take that trip and wait for the next trip instead (The reason was that there were already two white guys on that trip, and HE SAID that white people smell stink! Very unprofessional!). I was already suspicious and annoyed, but I let it go. He came back 20 minutes later and drove us to the airport, along which he keep talking about how bad white guys smell. When he dropped us off, he asked Rp 100,000, saying that it's weekend so a different rate applies. Rubbish! I don't mind the cost, but being scammed in your own country is another level of disappointment. I was in a rush and didn't want to argue, but let this bad behavior be not tolerated because it gives a bad reputation for the whole city or even country.
