I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Hotel City Dumai. It was honestly one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences I have ever had. The room had a terrible smell, and the television picture was so pixelated that it was almost impossible to watch anything. What disgusted me the most was the condition of the toilet. It was extremely dirty, with brownish stains everywhere. It looked like it had not been properly cleaned or maintained for a very long time. To make matters worse, the bedsheets were also brownish and had visible stains and marks on them. I had to call the hotel staff to request a change because the condition was simply unacceptable. I paid for a comfortable and clean place to stay, not a room that made me feel uncomfortable and disgusted. Basic hygiene and cleanliness should be the minimum standard for any hotel, and sadly, Hotel City Dumai failed to meet even that expectation. I sincerely wish I could get a refund because this experience was absolutely not worth the money I paid. The management really needs to take cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort seriously. Extremely disappointing, unhygienic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel unless serious improvements are made.

The area is near Duma Harbor. The lobby is okay, but the rooms are dirty and poorly maintained. The bathroom facilities are moldy, and the walls are covered in dirt. The room was newly prepared upon arrival, so it felt damp and uncomfortable.

I'm a regular customer when I go to Dumai, the prices are cheap.

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel, even though the price was economical, it was still comfortable, feeling like a 5-star hotel. I was just a little disappointed because the hot water pot was dirty and still had traces of instant noodles in it. Maybe the guy was tired so he forgot to check the electric pot, but it's okay, everything else was clean, comfortable, and okay.
